I use a 4-piston brake caliper from VMAXX, which is an AP Racing replica. The rear brakes are original. Tarox F2000 brake discs and Endless ME22 brake pads!

@@niclash4534 Ich kann auf das deutsche Forum für GT86 und BRZ Fahrer verweisen. Dort haben einige verschiedene Bremsanlagen ausprobiert und zum Teil eingetragen. MPS in Dülmen kann gegebenfalls auch andere Bremsanlagen eintragen, da die viele GT86 und BRZ umbauten haben, die teilweise eine größere Bremsanlage anschließend benötigen.

Jap, jeder hatte Schwierigkeiten behabt, egal welche Reifen. Verflucht sei derjenige, der Seife auf die Strecke gekippt hat!

Hallo Matze! Entschuldige die späte Antwort, ich erhalte warum auch immer keine Benachrichtigungen von UA-cam, wenn wer einen Kommentar verfasst. - Öl ist ein 10w60 300V von Motul - Ölschwallblech ist von Cosworth - Motor ist komplett Serie - Ich fahre ungefähr vier Trackdays im Jahr, ansonsten gut 10-15k Straße. Das Motoröl fliegt nach zwei mal im Jahr raus, Getriebe und Diff. einmal im Jahr. Habe nun 100k runter und lasse den Motor im Januar mal öffnen. Sicher ist sicher. Ohne Ölschwallblech und dickeres Öl hat man bei meiner Fahrweise schnell Probleme mit dem Öldruck. Zusätzlich habe ich einen Ölkühler verbaut, sonst wird das Öl zu schnell zu heiß.

Hi and sorry for the late answer! The BRZ is a good car for trackdays, if you eliminate some overheating and oil pressure problems: You need an oil cooler and thicker engine and diff. oil. For the engine 5w40 and above is okay. I use 10w60 from Motul 300V. You also need a good oil buffer plate, for example from Cosworth. Better brakes are recommend. For example Nürburgring GP: After less than two rounds my OEM brakes overheated. My current setup for the brakes are Traxox F2000 with Endless ME22. On front I drive VMAXX 4-Piston caliper 330mm brake kit. The VMAXX caliper are similar to AP-Racing and use the same AP-Racing brake pad type. Edit: I forgot to mention that you also need better brake fluid like Ferodo Super Formula. I hope these informations are helpful for you. Have a great day!

@@cayman9815 I use a 10 row SETRAB oil cooler. 16 row are better for track use only, but my car must works on road and track.

Hi! Yes Im happy with this tires. Grip between AD08R and Toyo R888R, but less expensiv. The side walls are less strong compare to similar tires, so you need more attention to your tire pressure. Wet driving is okay too, but not as good as AD08R.

Hey sorry for the late answer! Thank you for the compliment! Some circuits I know from sim racing like ACC. I drive in a sim league about twice a week (LFM Motorsport for ACC). I have been doing this regularly since 2021. It helps to be able to drive very consistently and react correctly when the car oversteer.

@@Domme019 Thanks man. You show crazy confidence in your driving skills on these videos, I have done some AC as well, for me I feel it helps me with my reactions and to better understand physics, however I still lack the confidence to push it to the limit. Greetings.

Thank you! I drive my tires between 2.2 and 2.4 bar. I haven't figured out what tire pressure is the best yet.

Hi Dave! Ich bin nur beim Freien Fahren gestartet, waren aber trotzdem viele Rennwagen auf der Strecke gewesen. Also laut RaceChrono Pro war es meistens eine 2:30 mit den Federals und einmal sogar eine 2:28 gewesen. Kläre am Mittwoch ab was mit Aero geht, CFK Haube ist aufm Weg und Unterbodenstreben von TRD habe ich schon hier liegen 😬👍

Danke! Bin bis jetzt immer nur einmal im Jahr für ein Trackday auf der Nordschleife. Linie kommt also eigentlich vom SimRacing. Ich hoffe nächstes Jahr bekomme ich eine Runde am Stück ohne gelbe Flaggen hin! Edit: Ach, jetzt weiß ich wer du bist! o/ >_

what is yr home track ?

@@cayman9815 Sorry for the late answer! I have no real home track. Im just driving 3-5 track days per year on different tracks. Nordschleife is one of my favorites and in october i will try Zandvoort. But Zolder is a very good track!

We all know each other, so it was okay. This year I switch from 225/40R18 to 245/40R17. Thank you for your comment! :)
