It's september 26th. I have to apply by november 1st. I have to take the SAT again October 5th. And have everything figured out by october 14th. I have like 4 essay ideas, but I don't know how to complete them.

this is generally just a brilliant dude, if any uni rejects you, its a crime, you've struggled in life, way more than most of us have had, things that would make a normal person quit, but you've fought through it bro. Hopefully you're doing well now.

I am 39 years old. You remind me of myself when I was in high school and college. You will look back when you’re my age and realize everything that was important to you in high school and college (I.e. grades, AP classes, SAT, extracurricular activities to make your college application look better, friends, everything you mentioned in this video) was silly and not worth your time and stress. People you care about will die, you will realize how ugly the world is, and life can be monotonous and sometimes depressing- think: working the same job for years, even if the pay is good. But life is a process, and there is nothing wrong with caring about what you care about now. You won’t really understand what I’m talking about until you experience it when you’re older. Good luck with everything

Your so real, I needed to hear this

I was never popular during my student life but in middle and high school at least I still had a few friends to be around with. However I was pretty much alone in uni LOL, made a few superficial friendships for group projects but once we weren't in the same class we weren't in touch anymore. I went to a competitive faculty and hated the ppl there, met some who straight ignored me when I said Hi. It was traumatic and even years later I am hypersensitive to people's response and get a lot of anxiety when someone I reach out to doesn't reply. When I went to school counselling and told the therapist about my experience she asked "that happens?" with a questioning face. I never went there again. People who haven't experienced it will never empathise and may even make your feelings feel invalidated. worst feeling ever
