I have not gotten much sewing or stitching done because the weather was good which meant it was time to get our in the garden. We are installing six 4x8 garden beds. I am lining the paths between and around for phase two. Join me as I share the process turning this blank slate into my ideal cottage-looking garden.

Today's Flosstube episode is in our new home library! I will be filming here and I absolutely love the ambience it provides. I am sharing all about my progress which should kick up this week since the library is complete and I get to sit and stitch! I am also showing my FIRST supply haul including fabrics and books.

I learned to cross-stitch a few weeks ago and I am smitten! I have completed two small ornaments and I am now working on a Christmas stitch because I love all things Christmas including cross-stitch. Being the organized person I am, I immediately set up systems to take my cross-stitch with me and keep it at home. I hope you enjoy my first Flosstube episode!

I love adding antique pieces to my sewing studio. It give both form and function. I prefer my open studio to reflect my home decor scheme and not look crafty per say. I want each piece to feel like furniture and I can do that by adding antiques. I also talk about expecting baby number 5!

My most asked question is: where can I buy your sewing desk? While you can't buy it in store; I am showing how we made it and all the parts. My DIY custom sewing desk from a dining table castoff is the perfect sewing station that allows me to have good posture and sew for hours.

I love snow! We were in the middle of the big snow storm and we walked and played in it. We loved the TWO days it snowed non-stop. Of course I had to take some videos and pics of quilts in the snow.
