Connecting Uganda to Clean Energy | Spark x BrightLife Uganda
Only 19% of rural communities in Uganda have access to electricity at home. That's why Spark is proud to partner with BrightLife Uganda to connect families to clean energy that powers bright days ahead. BrightLife distributes Spark solar home systems to communities in every region of the country.
This is a challenging task. Tough geographic terrain and a low-income customer base make the country a difficult market. But BrightLife and Spark have teamed up to ensure that rural homes have access to affordable and reliable power provided by Spark Kits.
In this video, BrightLife CEO Laurynas Vaičiulis shares the challenges and successes his company has found scaling solar in Uganda, why they chose to partner with Spark to deliver Uganda’s most affordable energy access, and the importance of providing high-quality solar products for off-grid customers.
