Hello, I have the BMP8 six needle and need to know how you get to stitch all the colors first then finally the outline last? I’m also doing key fobs and there are 3 colors, the outline being the last but it’s doing one at a time….would take too long for me to pull out the hoop each time. Any advice?

What’s the best needle to use for a project like this or on faux leather/vinyl? Plz n thx

I love these! So I am new to embroidery and want to make vinyl key fobs for my sons hockey team. Do you change your needle to stitch through these or will the standard one be enough? Sorry for the dumb question, just want to do it right and not snap a needle. :)

Wow Dian! You are a fountain of information on Word. I've been working with it since the beginning off and on, and before that Word Perfect DOS days, but never had to become an expert. As a programmer I've enjoyed the ribbons for their ease of use for touch as a casual user, but Word's audience of customers are so wide and varied, I can tell with you're in depth understanding and use of Word that would devalue the ribbon significantly.

Why does it look like there is still a bunch of fuzz where the blade housing is? Why didn't you remove it?

Dian Chapman, After a few times with this situation, I just turned off the cutter completely. I no longer have any problems. If I want no-jump threads on the bottom, I bring thread to top of project, and cut it, after is makes a few stitches. Haven't had any problems lately.

The quality of Viking machines has deteriorated. I do not trust the service department of my local Viking dealership. A friend of mine purchased an Epic 2 and it had to be sent back to Viking, they replaced it and the one they sent her was also defective; basically the machine had to be replaced three times! I changed brands to Brother and I could not be more pleased.

Your pointy tool is called a scratch awl or awl The key rings are called are (swivel Lobster claw)

Wow. I am also having issues with my viking Ruby. In embroidery mode automatic thread cutter does not cut bottom thread so when arm drags thread to next step it distorts fabric in hoop.

I have a question. When you make multiple fobs in one hoop, generally the last stitch in a design is the one where you put the back piece of vinyl on. So how can you reorder the events and do all embroidery except that final stitch which should be last??
