FFX is the best FF, it has a few problems but they all do, but FFX has the best characters(Auron is the goat), story and love the combat mechanics

I think with games that are just under- performing, with capped fps, which may drop a few frames, the ps5 smooths them out, well. So, is it worth it? Not worth it if you are expecting a huge increase in performance, but worth it if you can afford it, and you just value a smoother experience in many, but not all games…

I had a day one PS5 and got the pro today. My take is, if you have a nice tv (120hz, oled) the pro is worth it 100%. If not, you can still rock the regular ps5 for a while. There are games in which I don’t see any difference and there are games that made me say: wow! Elden Ring in quality mode, Spider-Man above 100fps with ray tracing, GoW: Ragnarok 100+fps, Demon’s Souls, TLOU2, etc… these are “wow” on the pro. I want to also buy Dragon’s Dogma 2 and Stellar Blade.

I think the only issue in this game is that characters like taash isn’t talking about their sexual orientation and preference enough. It has too much dragon slaying and lame D&D bs when clearly the modern audience demand only identity politics in their fantasy games.

It was my favorite it was first final fantasy, first rpg, and first super Nintendo game all in one. Pivotal to my childhood. Spoiled me so when I went back and played 4 labeled as 2 it seemed so far behind this

Let me ask you a question: Why is the presence of a non-binary character and their difficulties "out of place" in a fantasy world, but straight characters dealing with their personal/romantic issues not? Why is this difficult for your suspension of disbelief? The world of Dragon Age is not historical, nor is it set on Earth. This is an entirely fantasy universe with magic and dragons and non-human races coexisting with humans. Yet somehow a character being non-binary is the line that breaks immersion in this completely fictional, high fantasy world? I genuinely don't understand this.

I was 22 in 1994 and loved ff6. Now I think i prefer ff5 because of the versatile job system.

I was there when FFVI (SNES FFIII) first released in 1994. It felt like forever waiting for the next installment after playing FFIV (FFII). I can remember when it first came out, in my area specifically, it was hard to find as it was selling out quickly at every store that was able to get copies in stock. It took me a bit to finally get a copy, and back then it wasn't cheap either. A friend of mine got his copy before I was able to get mine, so I got to see a good chunk of the game before playing myself, but I eventually got my copy shortly after, and the rest is history. FFVI is definitely my most memorable moment on the SNES, and not just because of the game, but because of the build-up of waiting for its release, and hunting down a copy until I got it, and when I did, the excitement. I played the game endlessly, and even had the FFVI Nintendo Power Strategy Guide. My favorite characters are Terra (she is the main character), Celes, Edgar, Sabin & Cyan.

Hi Mack - Tidus' name in Japanese (the origin of the game) is ティーダ, which is Romanized as Tida and pronounced in English as TEE-DA. Official games that use voice acting pronounce the name as TEE-DA in Japanese and TEE-DUS in English. Another fun fact - his name is the Okinawan word for "Sun".

If reviewers accept a mandatory 2 minute "spank the person that does a gender mis-pronounce" as something positive, I have no need to read anything further they publish! DAVG might be saved by the old fans of DA, which have been looking forward to a new chapter, but I will not touch their fantasy set destroying new age wokentology religion, neither accepting the premise that this woke nonsense should be forced on us majority of gamers. Dragon age inquisition only got goty because other games released that year were all bad. but Inquisition, in comparison with Dragon Age Origins and Dragon Age II, was aweful.

Just boycott the game. Political agenda, be it left or right, does not belong in video games. We play them to escape reality, not have political views shoved down our throats.

I played it on GBA SP last year. Imo it was better than ff8 or 10 but worse than 9 and 7. I didn't quite feel depth of characters in 6. Especially Kafka, cuz i heard like he's very good antagonist. I think he had very cool potential but i dont feel like he or any character been properly executed storytelling wise. i love how Ardyn in FF15 in his DLC been realized.

I think the fairest assesment is it's a solid, playable game that looks pretty good, but the dialogue and writing is straight from the minds of the most annoying kind of woke san franciscan millennials, which makes it unbearable.

It bothers me when "non-binary folk" are in the public eye and treated as though it is good or ok to be "non-binary" That's like saying it's good to be schizophrenic. It's good to be bi-polar, it's good to be a psychopath. It is not good and should not be normalized.

Final Fantasy 6 is the best in the entire mainline. You been spoiled that's what I see and you say by your admission it's by the voice acting. In the other games you get to experience everything that had come before it but nothing on the scale of FF6. The entire world is literally ruined, millions dead and you didn't get impacted most likely because it's 2D pixels. Just imagine the scene in FF10 where that village gets destroyed by Sin and multiply that to a million in FF6 when that psycho did what he did and continued to keep doing it ruling the world for a number of years. In FF7 there's nothing that shattering until the thread of the comet. In FF16 lol this game ain't even worth talking about in a discussion of the best Final Fantasy. Each character has their own personal thing that can be expanded on if given the FF7 trilogy treatment but in 2D form there's enough there. I barely ever used Gau. He's only useful in the Fanatic Tower if I am getting owned there though with my main team. Speed runners I think use Gau. The GOAT is Edgar with his tools when it comes to physical damage. And yeah Cyan is to me one of the weakest only because of how Squaresoft implemented his Bushido skill. Square Enix tried fixing this but I think they should of just got rid of the whole wait time bs and have Cyan have weaker defense overall for balance sake and it would decrease the more he uses bushido skill per fight. I mean they got rid of forcing noobs having to input street fighter moves for his Blitz attacks into what pixel remaster had which is really good on them. Some of the things in this game was also used in Chrono Trigger such as the options of doing side quests or going to the end boss already and item upgrade after a period of time. If you didn't get the items in Narshe, South Figaro cave and the city of South Figaro those items would of upgraded into more powerful ones in the second Act. Also notice the lack of running in your video I dunno if you knew you can run by pressing one of the buttons of set it up to switch them vice-versa in the config menu or something.

Beat like 4+ times when it came out. Get the Offering and Genji Glove. You can do 70k+ damage per attack in the end game. Also do xp building fighting hoover (and cactrot) when you have the first 4 characters. The ones find later will have the xp average of your core. 4. 😊

I didnt use Gau much. But i never like the blue mage member of the party that copies enemies attacks, thats just my preference. I like Sabin and Edgar

i've tried to play this game like 5 times in the past 30 years. art: great music: great characters were all "i'm a good guy hero :)" until way later in the game kefka was like "hahaha my deal is that i am an EVIL villain" combat was pretty boring, almost always using the same move. the customization was the most basic out of the final fantasies i played. there weren't any good mini games or puzzles to break up the combat. just dialogue then mediocre turn based combat. exploring the open world seemed like a chore and i would often explore a long path that was a dead end, then congratulations... you get to walk all the way back and have fun with the random encounters. i tried so hard to understand why a lot of people think this is the best FF and i just can't.
