I’m having issues with my rough house r 50 I was riding today and I lost power and then it cut completely off and won’t turn on. I was wondering is it in the thing that you can help me with or with the look for because I changed the spark plug, I also put more gear oil. I also cleaned carburetor.
8:41 My pm exhaust don’t slip on like this I think because it’s old now it’s expanded a little so it’s not a snug fit. Has this happened to anyone else? And are jubilee clips a good substitute?
Your videos have been useful for modding my buddy kick. ty for those! I wondered if you could create one showing how to access the battery terminals? I was able to open the door to see the battery and removed the 2 screws at the base of the battery tray, but I could not get the tray to swing out. I’m afraid I’ll break something if I pull too hard. My goal is to put a battery tender ring terminal harness on it so I can keep the battery fully charged over the winter. ty!
@@darthemma an excellent call! I'll do a video wiring up a battery tender this week just for you!
@@freewayRodeany progress on this video? Thanks.
Awesome video! I just got a Buddy Kick and did this. Looks much better and improves visibility to cars. Thank you! I suggest you put this in the Buddy Kick mods playlist of your channel.
I wonder if you could put a strip of wood in line with the stand and when you rock it back it would catch on the stand and flip it like a jet on an aircraft carrier
That would probably work, but the hardest part is just getting the lift on the back end
Very well done video not all the drama of some other videos!
Less talk, more do something
This is so good it is my next wood build for my Vespa. Thanks for making and sharing.
If it's a 300 consider adding a foot of length
Thanks Great Video. Is the handling different to the standart tyres? More stabil or more agile?
@@3000911 it's been so long since I had the New OEM tires that I cannot say for sure but I believe the Pirelli are a more aggressive profile, so quicker to tip in and a little less square on top, so less "stable" but not in a bad way
Thanks!
I am about to buy a GT-150. I WEIGH 230LBS. WILL IT BE STRONG ENOUGH TO CARRY ME TO SAY 50MPH? THANKS LOVE YOUR WORK AND YOU FB POSTS- MATT
Cool video bro
A google search had me ordering an oil filter. Then I saw your video and to my surprise I didn't need the oil filter. Thanks for taking to time to do the video, it was very helpful!!!
@@jo-annemurray5923 this right here is the exact reason I do it!
Hey my friend, I did the glixal 26 115/38 and the same pm tuning exhaust as you. Have a NCY transmission kit and cdi as well. My issue is that once I put the exhaust on after a few runs with the new carb and jets where it was absolutely RIPPING- it got REALLY sloggy. Performance is almost back to stock 😩. Maybe running too rich? With the pm exhaust it smells like fumes constantly now. Any ideas how to unlock the performance? Need help!!
@@Schnooby999 did you check for any vacuum leaks? That could be part of the issue
@@freewayRode replaced all the lines already… Have to note, It’s also had this weird “power dumping” effect pre upgrades. At full throttle the fuel delivery or something gets messed up suddenly (riding over bumps set it off initially) and bogs everything down. It’s limiting top speed to about 42mph gps and the whole thing lurches constantly. Replaced vacuum lines, spark plug boot, and then did the glixal carb in hopes of fixing it. It’s gone away at top end of throttle but same issue is suddenly present at steady throttle at 5000 rpm. Lurches and can’t seem to hold a steady speed. If I throttle up it smoothes out. That on top of the loss of performance gains that I saw momentarily with the glixal before installing the pm exhaust. Any idea? Stater? Throttle cable? Running Too rich?
Could be fuelling, you could try turning down the main jet a size. If it was happening before it could be the CDI going bad or having a loose connection. Bumps would lend a degree of credence to at least check it out
Appreciate the help. No oil filter on the kick?
@@jakemetz1742 correct, the just the oil screen that needs to be cleaned
Looked it up. Apparently the kick runs so clean it doesn’t need an oil filter
Hi I'm a new scomdi owner I'm not tall 5ft 6in when sitting on seat I'm on my tiptoes can I lower s will be looking for a R A 125 soon great vids
Glad you and your videos are back! Appreciate your knowledge and content. Ride safe. Cheers! 🛵🏁🎯
As a person who has bought many little scooters online, Ive never ran across one that hasnt had carb issues, clogged jet, stuck float, missing gasket
Does this bike have a solenoid
These do have a starter Solenoid
@@freewayRode ok good to know and they have starter relays also ..I just brought this moped doesnt start i tried putting a new battery has no power at all the ignition is disconnected lost key I tried kicking got nothing the fuse isn't there but they connected the wires together I guess it worked before but not sure what's wrong now
Where is the starter relay located
I just swapped the carb, hooked everything back up the way it was. Now the scooter doesn't start
It sounds silly but you've confirmed your kickstand isn't down, and that your kill switch is in the correct orientation? If all you did was take the carburetor off and put the carburetor back on should be pretty much ready to go. But we would need more information to diagnose. For example, is it trying to crank? Does your throttle work?

Hi from the UK. Perfect timing with your video as I’m about to change the tyres on my GP200. You’ve made it nice and clear on how to do the job, so well done👏 Just one question, have you got a link for the small jack you use?
@@Tony-ug1mv any jack stand off of Amazon.co.uk or from Machine Mart should work just fine. Mine is an old Craftsman that came with a cheap jack I bought years ago.
@@freewayRode Cheers for that, I’ll search one out👍
Thx m8!
Where can you buy new buddy plastics?
Scooterworks and ScooterLoungeOnline are a couple of retailers that sell them.
Man, thank you! Outstanding work, and I'll be trading to a GT-150 from my GP300S!
What is tlc
That road had an Earthquake so much so that i'd be ok with a few sinkholes.. j/k -kinda. I have 2 RH sports one 2016 and a new as of 6-6-2024 (build Date is 4/23)and they are great bikes as well as tough, unrestricted and they get it done for a 50cc. Thanks for the ride ..
is this the same for a ragt125
I think the 125 is fuel injected and not carbureted
What was the reason of switching the jets over
Where can I find those “cheat sheet” spec pages? Thanks. Great videos 👍
There is a link in the video description
Tanks for you hard work 💪ibut ra.150 cc and all you videos there are helpful.😊 rc.los angeles ca.
I followed your instructions and successfully swapped out my GT150 factory carb with a Glixal 26mm carb. Thank you!
I followed along with your instructions and successfully upgraded my GT150 exhaust to a PM88. Thank you!
Do you know the specs on the stock belt? I mean the 3 identifying numbers for the belt. Thanks!
818x19.5 28 I believe
@@freewayRode thanks!
Both at accelation and steady speed. I thought it might be something in the fan as it's on the right side but I don't know how to check it.
Man these videos have really helped me with the exact same scooter and I've got a question that I hope you can answer. I've developed a "rattling/grinding" noise that olnly appear sporadically when under load and at speed. Gear oil levels fine, engine oil same, belts, weights etc . . . good and I'm stumped. Any idea of what it can be or what I might have overlooked? I'm hoping your still monitoring this account.
Is the noise coming from one specific area?
Hey! Thanks for responding! Yes, the noise seems to be coming from the rear wheel of the bike, specifically the right side. As I mentioned I changed the gear oil and saw no flakes of metal, etc . . .
Id check your exhaust bolts, both at the cylinder head and where it hangs towards the rear, as well as your wheel bolts on the rear wheel. Does it happen only at a steady speed, under acceleration, both?
Question for you, what jets are you running? I have the PM 88, glixal 26mm carb, and a performance transmission kit. Seems sluggish since I put the exhaust on (last item done). Also smells like it’s running really rich. Smells like gas. Thoughts?
Does it lose much Top speed when they are switched on ☺️👍🏼👍🏼
There is no difference in engine performance. If they are on it can take extra crank or two to start
How do you get scooter on table? And where'd ya get the table?
I have a video about building the table and loading the bike onto it
@@freewayRode My bad! Just found it! Thanks for great videos!
The kickstarter you mod or what?
The GT150 comes with a Kickstarter stock
That’s a really nice color especially for night riding. Slap in a few mods oh man this thing no joke.
Hi Great job and I like the playing cards hack
nicely done! hey bro, can you teach/show us how to changing battery for royal alloy ? also changing led light front and back ?
That seems reasonable! I'll see if the budget allows for a new battery
I GOT THE EXACT SCOOTER AND FOLLOWED YOUR INSTRUCTIONS AND IT WORKED, THANKS FOR THE AWESOME VIDEOOOOOO!
Have a 2021 roughhouse and there is fuel leak from the carb going into the air filters any ideas why?
Purchasing a GT150 within the next few weeks. What’s your over all opinion? May do a cross country trip in it in a year or two. Think the only hesitation I have about it is that it’s not fuel injected. Are you able to hold 55mph?
I still haven’t seen it
I'll admit, ive never seen this before. Makes me wonder how this works.
I believe it's hydraulics that extend the wheels down, lifting the trailer, and then they are powered (also hydraulic I assume) to walk the trailer left or right. Apparently it's a known thing for companies delivering sheds.
I want one because I don't have a lot of money, don't want to have to get a motorcycle license, and don't want to ask my mom at 41 years old if I can borrow her car LOL. I also like it because it can get some decent speed going even though it's a scooter, unlike those ones that can only go 30-35 mph. I'm planning on getting one for myself for my 42nd birthday :)
Can you do a review on your royal ? Year, price, and your thoughts on it
I'm way behind on any videos. That's a great idea!
