Instead of playing PUNK synchro you can play Diabolantis the Menacing Mantis and send Baby Spider, it is what I do in master duel. Baby spider is a brick in hand but in GY it lets you detach the other material from zombie vampire for a free reborn of any dark monster

I think maybe the way with fenrir it’s little better, you special fenrir, go search riseheart, use engraver for search tract, go sesrch lurri and special it, make requiem, special lacrima, send engraver, use it for reborn, make sequancia, make desirae, dumday, reborn desirae, equip with sequancia, use riseheart make the effect for ban like that come level 7, make shangra-la and pass turn, stand-by special one other fenrir Shagri-la protect you of 2 destruction, you lock one zone if you use effect of fenrir, fenrir tu ban facedown, and desirea… Next stand-by summon unicorn for go search birth and reborn fenrir in the ban zone… What you think?

The vampire and the vendread are the best zombie decks

Ohyeah and for the love of god we need a good zombie monster that can pay lp for ghost fusion. As a fail safe. Specially when Duke fusion gets released!! If we dont draw upstart, instant/ready fusion, sychron, extra foolish burial etc we are cooked. Vampire retrainer aint it but its the best we got. Next to golden land eldlich crap. I dont like the punk engine.

So I gotta ask what game are you playin in this video? Also did you just add custom cards and the game still recognizes the effects etc? How does that work? 10:25. I think the Ritual monster only blocks spells since you banished a spell card to activate the effect.

Nice decklist and showcase of combos. I am always looking for new inspiration in a zombie deck:D Before this new recent support with Delta, Curse and Vulcarrion it was really tough to play standalone zombies because a single Ash, Imperm or Veiler often ended the turn. I used to play ready and instantfusion wíth Allvain in the extra deck to get a lvl 2 tuner out and with my lvl 4 normal summon to go into Immortal Dragon. With that i'd even play Ghost Wyvern & sleeper with Ghost Fusion since u can banish Changshi from the Deck(or GY) because you have lower LP thanks to the fusion spells(also if you banish wyvern u can send Glow up bloom into the GY during the endphase avoiding the Zombie lock altogether). Works well with PUNK enginge aswell & i added Assaultsynchron & tuning twice each to increase the odds even more. But now im thinking of going back to pure zombie fun, while it is weaker than with other engines it just feels good to be able to play pure zombies and not eat shit:D

Hello dear Yu gi oh Zombie community ! I'm very glad to see that i'm not the only one being over hyped by the new cards incoming :D I've been playing the Z deck since i felt in love with the the Soul-Absorbing Bone Tower card, and i travelled across the updates and banlists since that. Considering the actual available cards, the list you are using in this video is close to what i played lately. You could had a bunch of goblin cards, they fit super well with the psychic engine. Looking through the incoming support cards, I 100% trust that pure zombie will be more competitive : * the main-deck must stay tight, not a single card should be a useless draw after the first combo * a lot of strong cards get us restricted to summoning zombies, wich should not limite us in the path we choose to extract our cards from the main deck and setup the right board * Doomking, Zombie World and Yuki-onna (link4) are still insane cards that u can access supereasily. * Playing cards like Titan of Tartarus and Super-poly is litteraly saying NO to your opponent. * The new tuner will allow us to play the whole family (main + side deck) of handtraps without the fear of hard bricking. * Dark necromancer allows to play a small but powerfull ritual engine, that can unbrick, foolish, extend on the field. * The Delta of temptation asks us to play a small eldlich engine too (1 golden lord, 1 or 2 black awakening, and one Angelcaido) *With cards like Changshi, Mazera, Gozuki, and of course the new Curse of the ancient Turtle, we are finally freed from uni-zombi, wich is a terrible card in the modern game. The way i think abt the 2025 zombie deck : 1) every cost payed in order to combo during or first turn MUST trigger another card effect (only that way you can prevent getting killed by some hantraps) 2) The deck is very versatile, it's up to the player to adapt the combo regarding to the situation (do i fear Nibiru ? lets use vendread battlelord effet early in the combo ; my board gonna get destroyed anyway ? lets setup à Gashaduro in the GY and Angelcaido on the field,..). If Zombies get blackwing support, we can be a problem. Get ashed, special a bunch of Zombies from hand. We just need more. It would be amazing if we got full blackwing zombies, including the spells. So we can search, revive, special. Bc we already foolish a lot, have protection with mazera and of course, doomking.

If we could play zombies as a mid range deck with nice amount of hand traps it would be awesome

The lack of Halq isn't the decks problem it is lack of decent support and the support we are getting now is too little too late from the power creep of modern yugioh, don't get me wrong the support is great but not enough.

I would try out Vendread Chimera over Battlelord. In a format like Master Duel, it should be better, because of best of one (and Tenpai). Zombie World will alwalys be destroyed, if not Balerdroch have already be dealt with by Called by Grave. Needs testing. Also, I wished the new Level 11 was a Zombie Monster. Mad Mauler and Bloom restrict choices and plays through Handtraps. We need a good Lvl 8 and 10 Synchro.

We need a lore archetype which has a zombie monster as its main character card, just as Diabellstar is a Spellcaster who's an MC for Sinful Spoils and Snake-Eyes or like Visas and Scareclaw, Kashtira, Tearlaments, etc.
