How was the year? Pretty much same as always. No GOTY exclusive winner, not even a nominee. Consoles are selling bad not sure what GP numbers are at even after COD. Ppl hyping up the next year. Well at least we have "no red lines" now, kinda crazy to me how quick ppl fall in line when a company shifts narrative lol.

I bought more 360 Xbox one and ps 4 games this year than ever.

I am not buying Dell, Asus or any other branded Xbox. Shifting totally to playstation and Nintendo next gen. I'll just buy the first party games on sale on those months down the line. I can give up gamepass for that. $20 sub isn't that great a deal anymore anyway.

Xbox is chasing players who don’t want them while risking the players who stuck with them in rough times. Xbox is playing with fire and may lose their identity doing so. Not leave gaming all together but their identity can be compromised

Almost all Xbox consumers (99.999%) just want to play on a console or a PC, an actual dedicated piece of hardware meant for games. You can argue that, okay, kids nowadays just want to game on their phone, but instead of resulting in Gears 6 being playable on phones, that will just result in a phone game being made instead. Also mobile gaming is degenerate, and Play Anywhere will only move the industry backwards in terms of quality. Sacrificing the soul and quality of video games so that kids can play on their phones is not going to improve the industry or the hobby.

There's a keyboard short cut on the ROG Ally quick menu on the left hand side where you can change resolutions, etc. to use in game. Hit the left side button to bring up the shortcuts and select keyboard. Took me awhile to realize that too 😂

Hey chaps great XB2+1! Interesting topics covered. I felt the same as Luke regarding Xbox exclusivity as I didn’t agree with/understand the approach. My main concern was about platform success with interaction with the Xbox ecosystem. But as time has gone on I’ve realised the industry is going this way and Sony is copying Xbox every step just at a much slower pace. Overall if I get Xbox games with more QTY and QA by sharing with PS gamers but I get game pass then idm 🤷‍♂️

I can remember how afraid we were of the butcher and especially the skeleton king. A year later 3 of friends of my older brother wanted to kill the butcher. They were 3 characters around level 3 and 4. I knew they couldn't kill him. So it was super funny to see how they all died :D. Like the dying townsman in front of the cathedral

I find it puzzling how some individuals have such strong attachments to specific hardware or express negativity toward others enjoying their favorite games. Approaching 30, I often feel a sense of disconnect with these perspectives, as if I were born in the wrong generation. Although I also grew up with a twin, I learned to share nearly everything, which shaped my outlook on collaboration and inclusivity.
