100% agree with all these points. We're talking abt an online vote on a platform for children, ofc it's gonna be popularity contest. If we js look at the average players of tsbg, compared to every other game in the poll, it's obvious that tsbg would win from the very start. That saying, it might've been unfair for it to be in the category in the first place.

Another thing to point out is that these are literally predictions and not actual voting. Roblox has already confirmed in twitter (via RTC) that there will be a jury who will choose who is the winner of the prediction categories. No one actually knows who won, and only voted for who they *think* they will win.

And I think you glossed over the example that he gave for ''Strategy with a lot of inputs'' was TEKKEN 5, one of the most complex fighting games franchises of all time in terms of inputs. TSB having 4 moves at most is pretty sad when you take into account that the average fighting game has many more. The amount of strategy in TSB is the equivalent to the amount of effort you put into making a ham and cheese sandwich. Tsb didn't deserve to be in the strategy section though, it's legit pressing m1 and pressing 1234, and they are bribing their community for votes when the judges are probably gonna select the actual games that deserve it, like TDS, tsb is not gonna actually win

Brookhaven and Blox Fruits (the 2 biggest games on the platform) don't get remotely close to half of those votes. Even if you combine the votes given for both, you're still around 500k votes away.

Fair point, but a lot of kids want KJ.

They bribed their community with KJ which then caused the players to make bots and vote for SBG. Then they DIDN'T give KJ saying it would be given at the end of the the votes and KJ would be in the game longer for each category they win. They edited the discord message that bribed their community to NOT include KJ AFTER THEY WON The reason its weird for SBG to have 1.5m vote is a huge chunk of the community doesnt vote in these types of events always been like that. What the admins did were scummy and not fair for other games. The TDS community never got toxic about it but was just dissapointed that roblox would allow this

This could be a fair take, if tds wasn't on there, tds is THE strategy game, it requires a lot more thinking, combos are not strategic anymore, if this your point, that combos are strategic, then tds could be called a fighting game. And with that same logic, any fighting game is a "strategy" game

TSB is a strategy focused figthing game as it requires a lot of coordiantion and reading players movements at a higher skill level and it belongs in strategy. However, it is NOT the best strategy game. I personally believe that TDS is a much better game at strategy.
