I'm not gonna I'm not gonna blame Don Mattrick for the sorry state of Xbox nowadays. Why??, because they had A DECADE to fix everything and guess what?., nothing happens!! Xbox is still in the sorry state as it was in 2013. Now compare that to Nintendo a decade ago. They were in their lowest of the lowest: The Wii U. But now what?, yeah now they are on top with their Switch. That's hgow their competitor changed in a decade. But Xbox just didn't do anything, at least anything that actually matter to their console and their brand. Meanwhile Sony keeps secuyring exclusives left and right, adding reason for people to buy their console. What Xbox doing?, yeah, port all their exclusives to PC. Which is good, because more people can play those games, and bad, because it gives people fewer reason to buy an Xbox console. And now they gonna release their new first party games on PS5 . . FUCKING PS5!! Apparently that's what they spend billions of dollars buying studios for: Being a third party publisher.

Just started playing this morning. Tip on the rewind. If you save your power ranger charge move until you see them bring it out. It is easier to prevent the rewind. You kill the enemies instantly so you can just attack the glass.

GoW was my favorite Xbox title over Halo and so many memories there. The split screen when playing the story with my boy for GoW 3. Just great memories

GamePass is a glorified rental service, and when your system's fanbase stops buying games because they've been trained to expect everything on said rental service, developers stop getting the support they need from their ROI. Everyone, except the astroturfing Xbox and PC fanboys, knew this would happen after MS bought Activision and Bethesda. They have nobody to blame for Xbox going 3rd party except themselves.

The problem with backwards comparability with ps1 through 3 are mainly because of their “exotic” architectures. Which can’t really easily be translated over to the x86 based system of the ps4 and 5. In some of the ways games were developed especially for ps3, they relied heavily on some very exotic/exclusive features of the cell processor in the ps3, which can’t really be translated to the ps5. Some ps3 games might have been able to work fine on a ps5 in a kind of emulated way most wouldn’t. So it simply wouldn’t really be realistic thing to think that the ps5 would be able to accept your ps2 and ps3 games. It’s just kinda the sad truth of having to make games around such an “alien” hardware that was the ps2 and especially ps3

You started on a good note, and you did a good job of being objective, but then calling people stupid because they like a game, "You did not like", is not cool, and that is bad. I and my friends did enjoy Halo Infinite, and yes it was not the best, but I liked it, it was cool. As a new channel, try to stay objective, and get personal feelings out of the way, or at least do not insult people, whom are taking the time to watch your videos.

It's your own fault if you couldn't wait with starting Infinite until it finally got out of the beta state it was in for over 2 years. Never buy or start a game on release day, that is something everyone should have learned from so many unfinished games that came out in the last 10 years, and most of them took at least half a year until they were in an okay state. And yes, the Xbox360 times were great and the best thing that ever happened to consoles, and it was during the times when gaming wasn't taken over yet by greedy idiots that only got money and how to get more money out of everyone in their heads. But what does it even matter nowadays, PC gaming has always been the best option that kept all its old advantages and is keep getting more advantages.

Make Halo great again! I miss the days of bungie made halo games. Bungie and Xbox as companies are in a struggle period and an identity crisis as far as I’m concerned. I miss the 360 days, we lived in the peak gaming time. I wish I could go back and appreciate it more ! RIP my childhood

This was a d**m good video. Totally informative putting so much in perspective. The frustrating part of it all is what was pointed out. Those battle pass, the season pass, the two versions of currency in one game. We got rid of loot boxes for the most part. But the one common thread is the micro transactions. If memory serves it was over saturation of games floating the market with cheap knocks off that created the collapse with the added cost of buying the game being out of reach. Here we are again. Are these companies pushing micro and passes so aggressively as a means to survive, while skimming of millions for their own bonus. A hobby that once seemed so pure, creative and had passion now seems so seedy. Ok I seem so dramatic I should stop typing. It's not all doom and gloom there are rays of creativity still out there ... Let's see with GTA 6 where all that shark card money went.

MS becomes the biggest (or the second biggest) economic entity in the because it sell everything in a subscription base, not just game. Once lucrative box set products, like Office, Publisher, Visio, are all selling by subscription. So the idea that "oh Gamepass hurt MS revenue" point is not true.

xbox right now is the best console if you just want to play games, not exclusives, just, games, because it has all the value and features you could ever want, game pass, cheap used games, and of course, streaming anywhere on near any device

My problem with game pass, and it will always be the same with all the other subscriptions services. Game pass is only a good value if you have the attention span of an iPad kid, if you play the same game repeatedly like someone with new Vegas/ GTA online it is cheaper just to buy the individual games.

If you really think Xbox is dead then you dont know shit. They just came out with 2 🔥 games with Stalker 3 and Indiana Jones, next year they have like 5 more games coming out and as far as people that have a PC saying theres no reason to own an Xbox to which i say it's the convenience of a console not everyone can afford a PC. Not everyone wants a PC. I've always been a PlayStation guy. I've owned 1-4. The only other consoles I've owned are an SNES and Xbox 360. The reason I got a 360 was because of Forza. But that era of games was the pinnacle so owning a PS3 and 360 was normal I think. I ended up getting a ton more games for the 360 and loved it. I never considered sticking with Xbox though. The PS4 had the better games and I had the longer history with them. Now all the current games are trash. The PS3 and 360 are still what I will play.

It’s going to be so entertaining watching Sony have free rein start rap ng the paypigs dry once Microsoft leaves the console space and there’s no competition (Nintendo’s doing their own thing. Also, I’m well aware Microsoft stopped competing towards the end of the 360’s life). Sony already has an effective monopoly and they’re already going full anti consumer with the PS5 Pro (a mixed bag at best with some games being massive improvements, others are pretty much indistinguishable, and some look/run worse on the Pro. It doesn’t even have the disk drive/stand and they’re charging $700😂). The ONLY way I can see Xbox turn things around is if the next model (assuming their talks of staying is even true) actually runs on proper Windows and can play games from other storefronts. I’m sure the Steam Machine 2 will actually be able to compete since Valve is opening up SteamOS to other companies, and we have credible leaks for new hardware/controllers. So glad I jumped ship to PC after the Xbox One. Don’t really have an incentive to buy new consoles (includes Sony) since those games are coming to PC, and I can just emulate the super majority of games that aren’t on PC.

I removed psplus entirely and use ps5 pro offline instead. The problem with Sony is all their big bad decisions were made by crazy people in California for some time now, that’s why there are no quality games last 4 years.

No I don't have a problem with all that I just never really liked the story that much in dragon quest 3 I really don't think it was one that needed to remaster I mean there are far greater RPGs out there at a higher standing to me like xenogears that's the top of the remasters list to me and breath of fire 3 way better story to me I am a fan of some of the dragon quest games but to me the later ones were a little better to me and I just three was overly complicated story to me I mean there are plenty of RPGs that deserve a remaster are remake that are just for better stories I really wish there would be a remake or remastered of legend of legaia as well

It has more to do with unneeded changes. Just because the snow flakes can't handle beautiful female characters in sexy outfits. But I will say it isn't that bad. It's just getting annoying that they change things at all.

Try to understand it's also changing an original design made by the late great Toriyama. Also I'd argue that the change may have only been for the official art. The change to the holy symbols in the game for priests are far more noticeable. Also I'd argue the sanity of defending this petty level of censorship. I agree, the censorship and changes to the sexuality or gender of characters by making it type a and type b are really petty. But likewise if it's so petty I'd simply ignore the controversy instead of giving it the time of day. And dismissing people as just wanting to sexualize the character honestly makes you a lot worse than the people who are against this kind of censorship in the first place. You're calling them horn dogs they're calling you pro censorship. Their complaint is more valid and accurate. They can physically prove it. You're making accusations.

Virtue signaling benefits no one. if censorship is allowed at all then everything can be censored. Where do you draw the line? green blood? taking the moon and star emblem on Link's mirror sheild away and replacing it with some weird looking crap? We want boobs and butts why? Because we can. It absolutely affects the game. Her shirt and shorts cover her boobs and thighs, and it's not the way the game was intended. Dragon Quest is a fantasy game, women are beautiful and look good in fantasy armor get over it. Women in real life would wear this armor if they knew they looked good in it and could find a legitamate reason to wear it. They go to wal-mart with their butt cheeks hanging out in their shorts all the time.

I don’t see it too much of a problem. A lot of the things we liked as children was censored. Doesn’t change my memories of them. Yugioh was heavily censored but it’s not like it took away much from the story or from the dark magician girls hotness lol. Square trynna make it kid friendly and covering up some skin and bewbs is the key to getting that E 10+ rating. Doesn’t take away from the story and I’m sure toriyamas work was toned or change when those esrlier dq titles were in the making. I still see his style in this artwork and it makes me happy even after so long , the franchise has stayed with his style.

What a disingenuous take. When people fought agaist censorship on games in the 90s it was around violence and fense sitters werent sitting there saying "are we here to play video games or watch stuff films" We want to play games that didnt have their creative freedom stifled. Even the devs are baffled on why it has to be censored.

I don't really care about the censorship personally but I do think this position is dismissive of legitimate issues that one could have with the game. Toriyama's art is absolutely iconic and a core part of the series' success especially in the early days where DQ3 hails from. If someone doesn't like the censoring of that iconic and important art, especially after the artist's death, I wouldn't simply write them off as horny losers who just want to sexualize characters (that don't even exist IRL). It doesn't personally bother me, I'm having loads of fun with the game and I hope others who are hesitant do also, but IMO these are legit gripes.

It's not sexualizing the characters. It's needlessly editing them.
