I just got home from being ejected from an Easter meal held by my girlfriend's MAGA parents because of my Abraham Lincoln "Be Excellent To Each Other And Party On Dudes" shirt. It wasn't because I was wearing a t-shirt or anything, I intentionally dressed down because I knew the dress-code was going to be poor-casual. And one of the cousins was wearing a Metallica t-shirt, nothing too crazy just a black shirt with the silver logo. But somehow mine was really offensive. Well it wasn't until one person decided they were offended by it and it turned into a mob mentality and everybody jumped in. I'm still not sure how it offended them, whether it was Lincoln worship or just deemed too liberal a message for their MAGA get-together. It's not that they're anti-partying either, her dad grows and sells pot and the mother is in the final stages of chronic alcoholism.
My middle school VP would always say "Be excellent to each other, and I'll see you out there!" at the end of daily announcements, anyone else from Foothill, Mr. Roe?
2-12-21 In Honor Of Our Greatest And Most Tranquil President...I Am Watching This Most Triumphant Movie... P.S. Be Excellent To Each Other...And Party On Dudes!
Patrick Grant is my uncle, came from Ireland and sang in many Irish events around town. Because of him, he got me down to the dressing area and I got a Gordie Howe autograph … as he was signing he was looking around and said ‘where’s the bus?” … he was still sweating but he was still Mr. Hockey. Pat Grant was actually “discovered” singing one night at a local bar by legendary hockey defenseman Doug Harvey who worked for the Racers at the time and told Pat to come in for an audition. My mother (Pat’s sister) introduced me to Doug (she didn’t know his last name) and then mentioned he once played for the Montreal team … I was dumbfounded, chased him down and asked him about Bobby Orr (which he didn’t really appreciate) … but he was nice about it. He was living out his last hockey years at the time…sad ending for a hall of famer.
Hadn't seen this movie in a long time, and I realized that Bill and Ted never mention future events to each of the historical figures (Rufus probably told them not to) or they just knew not to say anything to them about it. It would have been interesting if they did, for example warn President Lincoln about his assassination, and Joan would be burned at the stake etc, etc just as they are being dropped off back in their own time.
is someone here bc of WSC
The greatest classic hollywood has ever produced. 😂
Why do I feel like if he was alive today, he would totally get a kick out of this?

Me in the audience: "DON'T GO TO FORD'S THEATER!"

Sorry you got kicked out, but it sounds like a benefit that you didn’t have to be there all that long.
This movie is so good.

imagine a real high school history report where two guitar playing surfer kids get the stones to really present something like this for their final.

You don't fuck with the timeline. They did enough damage to the timeline. The smallest thing can lead to disaster.
