Stop covering this predator, P Diddy wannabe, he has many victims. He ruined Christmas for children by shutting down a toy drive. Jim and Them do a comedy show.
I thought the dude looked like Chris kattan too lol😂😂
Yeah! You totally felt that Chris Kattan vibe right?! Like a bigger Corky Romano! 😂

Amazing.. that's just happened to me watching Who's the boss 😂❤ what a great story, about a man who loved his sog. It just filled my heart with warmth. thank you for making this vid
Thank you for watching! Yeah, you can tell Gary loved Ubu so much and Ubu will live in our tv pop culture memories forever!
I remember as a kid wanting lunchable’s so bad as a child. But my parents were like nah u getting a sandwich.
At the time you were like, "my parents don't love me"... but now you're like, "dang, my parents loved me!"
I never liked Bud Light even before the whole debacle this year. Always tasted nasty to me for the whole time I've been drinking beer, and Bud in general gives me a headache for whatever reason.
This is true. Bud always gives me the worst hangover, even over similar beers like Coors or Miller. What's up with that? -Jamie
5:12 Definitely LAZY.....I'm sure the quality of the food in lunchables has diminished quite a bit since invention as well. I wouldn't feed them to a pet, much less a human.
Yeah agreed. Lunchables are super lazy. One could get WAY better quality meats, cheeses and crackers, make their own "Luchable", and it would be higher quality AND cheaper. The only time we'd eat Lunchables again is if we were in a huge hurry at the gas station on a road trip and they were the first thing in sight in our hungry rush.
Yeah I tried a box of those a couple of years ago. The cheese was too mild, the turkey flavorless and the crackers didn't hold up very well in the refrigerator. Meanwhile the package stated that the sodium content was through the roof. Never again unless starving.
@@christianwootton100 Lol. Yeah, that's a lot of sodium for food so bland.
I had forgotten all about New York Seltzer after we moved to Indiana from Upstate New York in the late 80's. Haven't had one since then. Those were the 💩!!! Now diet sodt drinks and light beer?... Might as well be offering me decaffeinated coffee... Nasty stuff, lol. 🤮🤮🤮
Try and get your hands on an Original New York Seltzer. Its nice a sugary, just the say a real soda pop should be!
Always thought he was a hunk.
We think your thought is spot on!
Indeed!
Right? We're here for you David. We got your back bro!
@The80sand90sOverlooked If you're ever in the San Francisco Bay area, swing by the Wing Kong Exchange. ....I'll give you gentlemen the tour.
Yeah that was crazy about Family Guy getting cancelled. I remember watching the DVD’s in college with friends and we laughed so hard. I was so excited when it came back. My whole family would sit and watch Who Wants to be a Millionaire together. That was one of our favorite shows.
Yeah, its nuts they cancelled it, but now its been on the air for about a quarter century!
😂😂😂😂
🤪🤪🤪🤪
No mention of The World Series Earthquake?
You know, I should have made that my sports section instead of Pete Rose! That will be a good sports topic for our upcoming season starting January!
@ I was watching that live when it happened. Very bizarre. And fittingly, that Series featured both Bay Area clubs.
I too visited Australia in the late nineties when in the military. I was a Marine deployed on the USS Peleliu. We ported in Darwin, and that’s where I first saw Titanic.
That's so cool! I was on the USS Blue Ridge and we went to Darwin as well! Hey, the Peleliu and the Blue Ridge took similar. Maybe because they are both amphibs. Thanks for hanging out with us shipmate! -Jamie
Intro sounds like 70s music
It kinda does huh? Worked well enough in the early 80s episodes but maybe outdated by 89 huh?

My favorite year on this earth! Cheers!
Yeah, '98 was pretty much the best year in human history.
I was 18 in 1988. I remember every one of these things like it was yesterday.
It really does feel like yesterday doesn't it? Thanks for reliving 1988 with us!
I was in junior high at that time. The first thing I think about is Titanic and how big of a movie that was. Princess Di was a huge and tragic story. The Tyson vs. Holyfield is almost too weird to believe. That’s when we knew Tyson was insane.
Yeah, the sad thing is my grandpa was a huge boxing fan, and I think he paid good money to see the match on Pay-Per-View, only to see that.
@@The80sand90sOverlooked yeah that would suck because of how short the bout was.
you ever hear the 90's sucked?
Sometimes. And sometimes, we even agree with it!
Absolutely! Especially 'Herbert West' lol
Yeah, especially with that syringe of glowing green goo... HOT!

Ah, first kiss with Mary Jane in '87 huh?
Fitting that the 1st video I watch from this channel is from the year I graduated High School! I'm a 'sci-fi' guy, so SST:TNG was 'BIG'. Sadly, it would be about a decade before I watched (by choice) any episode from the 1st two seasons. 'Skintight single Uni's' were NOT what I hoped to see the crew wearing. Thankfully, the scripts & uniforms improved greatly with the premier of Season 3. I'm from Philly & remember that televised 'Self-Deletion'. 'The Princess Bride' is my litmus test- I've never gotten along with anyone who didn't Love this movie & have shared a 'first time' watching it with many people. 'Robocop' &'Predator' were another 'Game Changers' for 'sci-fi' fans! 'Running Man' was a fun watch, too. 'Harry & the Henderson's'- Awesome movie. I'm outside of Seattle now, myself. 'Spaceballs'- Tim Russ (Tuvok, from ST:VOY) was a real hidden gem in this film. Loved 'Whitesnake' & 'Def Leppard'. I had NO LOVE for Motley Crue's 3rd Album. A whole summer of MTV having a Top 10 Countdown of '#10 - #2 & Motley Crew' soured me- I was SO sick of 'Home Sweet Home' until their farewell tour. Bro, I'm really enjoying your take on these years- Thanks!
Yes, good call on "The Princes Bride" litmus test! There's a special place... away from us... for anyone who dislikes it. Kinda agree with you on the third Motley Crue album. I remember many of the songs like "Home Sweet Home" were played to death. Thanks for hanging out with us!
Star Trek and The Simpsons were definitely a staple for my childhood. We had Henry and the Hendersons on VHS. It scared me as a kid but I enjoyed it. Hatchet was one of my favorite books as a kid. Wow that brings up a lot of childhood memories.
Star Trek and The Simpsons were tv staples weren't they? Did you know Harry and the Henderson was going to originally have a darker tone? Luckily it went lighter, or it would have scared you more. Yeah, Hatchet is still read in schools today!
@@The80sand90sOverlooked I can see Harry and the Hendersons going very dark. Yeah I’m glad they made Harry likeable.
Well, with everything being remade and rebooted with a dark and gritty tone, I'm sure we'll have our rated R "Harry and the Hendersons" horror movie soon.
Michael Jordan retired after having a HIV diagnosis???? Wow this is news to me
… I don’t think that is true lol
@@Hicks206 lol it’s not he’s confusing him with magic Johnson. Michael Jordan took a break from basketball to play baseball after his dad was killed
You are correct. And that's why I shouldn't record videos without enough sleep and not paying attention to my notes.

I use to watch the Ghostbusters cartoon as a kid. That along with Beetlejuice were weird kid cartoons. Subject wise that is.
Now that you mention it, they were pretty weird for kids with all the ghostly stuff. Then again, they also made a Robocop cartoon, so as long as they thought it could sell toys...
I’ve just learned of this movie trying to find out more about the Only Murders In The Building creators. Hoffman’s name came up and now I’m here. I’ve NEVER heard of this film and I was 7 in ‘97, Disney channel was everything. I’m desperate to see this!
That's an interesting route to get to our video about Northern Lights. Yeah, we never heard of this film either but our friend Allison likely knows more about this movie than anyone other than those who were involved in making it. Ruby Ridge and Waco were two separate events .
I know. I talk about one in one episode and the other in another. But I mention both in each.
@@The80sand90sOverlooked You know what, I think you said Ruby Ridge and Waco, and I heard it as Ruby Ridge in Waco. My mistake

This soundtrack is fantastic! Fun movie! Saw in the theaters when it came out, as I was a budding IT professional and loved ELO. Jeff Lynne's two songs are bangers! This movie was right up my alley!
Agreed on the soundtrack. In fact, that's how we found the film. The Jeff Lynne songs are underrated hits. Its so cool you saw this in theaters. We're also IT peeps so we get you.
Back to the Future is one of my favorite movies of all time. Should have won best picture. I think Out of Africa won and know one talks about that movie.
Dude, you are so right! I've seen "Back to the Future" maybe a hundred times and love it just as much every time I watch it. Its... timeless? Hehe. I don't think I've ever seen "Out of Africa" but I'd rather watch "Back to the Future" again to be honest! -Jamie
I remember that moment when Nancy Kerrigan got hit and was crying why. That was so crazy.
Yeah, that was some next-level, mafia-style cheating right?!
Good study. Gold fever,That gang;s acting all tough, and he start;s losing his mind!
Thank you. Yeah, the gang didn't end up tough.
Blue thunder the movie was good, series awful! Airwolf is the best
Yeah, that's a fact Union Jack. That's why Blue Thunder the series didn't last long.
I saw Jurassic Park in the theater and that was one of the greatest movie experiences I’ve ever had.
Totally! This was more than just a film in theaters. This was an adventure the likes we never saw before. The OG Jurassic Park still holds up too!
The year I was born. Good year.
This was a good year to be born Jason!
OMG.......A Christmas Story!!!!! This was my childhood, lol!!!!! Cujo!!! The Right Stuff!!!! Man, you totally need to do a 1983 part 2, lol!
Yeah, 1983 can have a miniseries of its own right?!
Dude........big fan of the series........but, I'm not gonna lie......... I was HIGHLY anticipating this one, but was SUPER disappointed. No mention at all of Eddie And The Cruisers, The Outsiders, The Big Chill..... Didn't National Lampoon's Vacation come out in 1983? I think cult classic The Legend Of Billie Jean came out that year too! This was a pivotal year in my childhood!
Sorry to disappoint. Summarizing the whole of 1983 with an old school Domino's 30 minutes or less guarantee... bound to leave some things out. I will agree though James that leaving National Lampoon's Vacation out was unforgivable! We'll be sure to do a podcast retrospective on the Vacation series for you when we return to our regularly scheduled programming in January. Thanks for hanging out with us!
Been waiting for this one!!!! 1983 was such a great year! I got an Atari 5200 and loved it! My cousin had the 2600 but the 5200 was SO much better!!!!
I remember the 2600 but forgot all about the 5200 until you mentioned it! That's something I'll have to write about on our articles page! -Jamie
I remember that moment when Sinead O’Connor tore up the Pope picture. I was more confused than anything else. Yeah Johnny Carson stepping down was an emotional moment. Jay Leno was good but I agree Letterman is more respected. The Dream Team was so fun to watch.
Good point about Sinead tearing up the Pope picture. When we were kids, it was like, "why is she tearing up that picture, and why is it such a big deal to everyone"? Now, as an adult, you can comprehend the symbolism and statement it made.
I can't believe I only just found your channel now, hearing the way you're talking about E.T. is enough to make me hit the subscribe button already. Relatable AF, dude. And I'm so here for what you're doing.

I was born in February of 1978 so 1982 is probably where most of earliest memories come from! LOVED this!!!! But I'm eagerly anticipating 1983!!!! Ready for Eddie And The Cruisers and The Outsiders. Wasn't The Big Chill from 1983 too? Good stuff!!!!!
Yeah, we're about the same age then. Yeah, you'll enjoy 1983. It will be almost a full 30 minutes because so much good stuff in 83. Thanks for listening.
It was the 20 year anniversary and they were like 12-14 or so in the flashbacks so that would have them pretty close to their mid thirties. I'm currently halfway to 47! 😭😭😭
We're right there with you! If we all had a 20-year reunion for something, it would be for 2004! This film was made in 1993!
LOVE Indian Summer!!!! SO good!!!!! I always wished I had gone to camp somewhere growing up but I was painfully shy up until my late teens so I probably wouldn't have hooked up with any girls or anything anyway, lol! YES!!!!! Julie Warner was SO gorgeous in that movie!!!! Such a great cast!!!! Alan Arkin killed it as Uncle Lou!!!! There wasn't really a weak link in the cast so this was pretty much the definition of an ensemble piece, lol! Wasn't director Sam Raimi even in this as the caretaker dude (think his name was Stick or something).
Jamie is starting to appreciate the film more. He was just jealous and didn't know how to handle the warm camp feelings. Julie Warner is beautiful! An overlooked actress of the 90s. Yeah, Sam Rami was friends with the director and got a goofball role.
