Restored Fender Rhodes from 1973
Pianet N Demo
Переглядів 15 тис.5 років тому
Restored Pianet N with new Ken Rich Pads played through a Fender Mustang GT. kenrichsounds.com/shop/hohner-clavinets-pianets/pianet/pianet-sticky-pads-61-5-spares-not-for-tduo-models/
I'm using those white silicone pads on my N. Where can i get the Ken Rich pads? Surely there are some floating around out there.
Does this have an internal speaker, or does it have to be connected to an external cab?
It has to be connected to an Amp, in this case i used a Fender Mustang GT
so good!! I wish I had the skill to play my M3 like that😄. what does that modded toggle switch on the lower manual do?
This switch is extra power switch in front of the original power switch. I don't know who installed it because this organ was given to me.
I love this Organ ! Great job .

Why only 3 videos on this channel? I pray this guy is all good and he makes more videos. I’ve told my son and Hammonds, Rhodes & some vintage synths. They’ve killed off most of the mom n pop music stores so these kids will never know what it’s like to play one of these instruments. Blessings to this guy 🏆👑🏆
I miss and don't miss the days when you need to carry 10 keyboards to get 10 different keyboard sounds.
Genesis’ Tony Banks used this Pianet from Trespass to Selling England by The Pound (which he replaced it with an RMI 368x afterwards).
Just as good as a Rhodes or a Wurlitzer!
And the RMI 368
Beautiful sounds
Yuck
This is a most fantastic demonstration of what I believe is the most under-rated electric piano in the world. I used one in 1972, and it was "my instrument". I replaced it with the Wurlitzer 200 then replaced that with a Fender Rhodes. But, I wish I still had my Pianet N.
Really beautiful - made me miss my old Rhodes!!
This is better than a Yamaha DX7
It's a very different animal. I personally like the DX and this little beauty!
None of the sampling libs can recreate this Pianet! Lucky for those few people who own one!!!
It's funking awesome!
I sure wish someone would create one. And with the Ken Rich pads (not those shitty solid silicone ones). Unfortunately Ken isn't selling his anymore. :(
The Pianoteq Hohner instruments are really close.
@@robinmiller7958 absolutley not
Great instrument. IMHO it sounds even better than many Rhodes pianos
This is wonderful. Now just run it into a phase 90.
that bass sounds so smooth.
Awesome.....
Thank you so so much
What style of music would you say this is? Organ Funk? Some type of Blues? I am trying to figure out that killer chord progression.
Sunny is a Soul song written by Bobby Hepp in 1965, covered by many artists.
@@heiko251169 Thanks, I love your content!
Lovely lovely sound!
Good
Uuuhhh where have you been
had a brand new 1973 '88 back then, like a fool I sold it off 3 years later, I needed the money back then...
Love it!
So nice!
No matter if a Fender Rhodes is dry or ran through a chorus pedal they sound fantastic.
I actually like it sounding like this. It sounds a bit like some of the Yamaha keyboards I've played and heard, such as the PSR-SX600.
@@DJIncendration You can also voice a 73 to your desire.
wonderfulll....send more videos pls!
I could listen to this all day
Great sound! makes me nostalgic of the one i had...
That's one sweet sounding Rhodes. Well done, both performance and restoration.
Thank you, this is my best Rhodes restauration
Ah yes, the "Yamaha PSS demo song." Sounds great!
Sheets please!
Sounds good 🤠🤠🤠
beautiful playing.
110v? 220v?
Love it so much !!!!
Fantastic! I really need to get the circuitry refurbished in my Pianet N, it has some terrible buzz at times. Those Ken Rich pads are the best.
Here before it goes viral :D Well played my friend! :)
The best of Fender Rhodes...
Amazing performance on. I love it all the way. Great cover. I also play piano on my channel
The Hohner pianettes are beautiful sounding - they are unique, warm ans organic sounding and thay cut through a mix - I have tried for years to get a digital equivalent but it isn't possible- great demo demonstrates the tone of these instruments
what song is that? Sounds like St. James Infirmary but not quite.
"Summertime" from Porgy & Bess. The band The Zombies recorded a great version in the 1960's - I think they used a Pianet T. ua-cam.com/video/RKu2P8zT_F4/v-deo.html
The first one, I think you referencing, is summertime by Sam Cooke. Great song.
@@blackpeaches7843 no, zombies used the N too being 60s. The T wasn't out til the 70s
Hey I just picked up a Wurlitzer 206 student model today for 200$ but they had 1 of these there in there dad's old storage locker that they weren't ready to sell it yet but anyone want to tell me what I should offer them for it cause they sure seem to have such a warm beautiful and complex tone amazing hope you enjoy for it years
Does me good. Fabulous.
awesome demo!!! thanks for sharing all the different amp tones! now i need to get a pianet n :D
Well done
Fantastic sound .. can be used dry for melow tones or with tube amp for lovely bites ... .. so different from rhodes and wurlies .... i love it !
