Wow, and there I was writing a short story about an actual welder only to find out that the title is already taken by some mediocre lookin horror flick.

These have such promise but the acting and staging gets both too over-the-top and overproduced. Both of those qualities combined hurt the "believability" of the narrative.

Great, another middle-class movie where they cosplay poverty and homelessness without doing anything tangible to fix the situation. No woke points awarded, you don't get to rename other peoples struggles as housing challenged because the word homeless makes you feel uncomfortable. Performative garbage. I am Mark Allen, the screenwriter of this film. I am so excited to see this coming out on Oct 4, 2024! From what I see in the trailer, everyone involved understood the subtext of my writing, and "got" what I was really trying to say with this story. I am so incredibly grateful!

Saw this last year at FrightFest. Great slow burn that ratchets up in the final third. The two leading ladies are great and I loved the layers of worldbuilding. It's not another Hell House LLC but if you told me these existed in the same universe, that would make sense.
