Karen & Cruz great rod race part 1
This was a race to see who would catch more carp between Karen and Cruz.
in this video Cruz manages to break his PB carp so had to get the water treatment. Karen had 2 carp and lost 2, Cruz landed just the 1 but a beautiful carp it was.

    Hi! I've already watched a few tent videos, e.g.: Prologic Inspire SLR Bivvy, NASH TITAN HIDE CAMO PRO XL, TRAKKER TEMPEST RS. But this tent is still closer to me in terms of solutions. However, I noticed one thing with all types, that they didn't put in a rain window that could be fastened with Velcro, or maybe it escaped my attention. In heavy rain, if you close everything because the rain comes in through the mosquito net, we can no longer see what is going on outside because we have to close ourselves and sit in a closet. how do you solve this? You made a good video. Best regards, Tibor

      @Vackor41 it does come with a clear door so you are able to change the solid door with a clear door. This is what I currently have on the bivvie. Maybe I forgot to put that in the video. Thank you for watching my video and thank you for your kind words.

    Great video mate! One question with the bivvy how is the condensation inside? And do you use the winter skin or is the vapour peak good enough?

    • @lukeoxford
      @lukeoxford 2 місяці тому

      i use the skull cap on short sessions and never had any issues with condensation on the inside of the bivvy. with the winter extended wrap again no issues with condensation on the inside of the bivvy however i did use it this wknd and had a little bit of condensation on the inside of the extension but not on the inside of the bivvy itself. im sure if i used the bivvy without any of the wraps then im sure i would have some condensation on the inside of the bivvy then, but this is why the skull cap is provided i guess. thanks for getting in touch and asking mate.

      I would just like to add that i had condensation build up between the skull cap and the outer side of my frontier when i used it in 30 degrees heat and nothing on the inside. I also find that the inner dome helps stopping inner drips, but like you said, im also sure it would be heavy on the condensation without the skull cap etc. A great great bivvy though 👍

      @lukeoxford hopefully they will! I did manage to free my rig by walking my rod up the bank to the other side of that. Thankfully. It was a mixed bag. I had one at 15lb within a few minutes of my second rod going out. Gave me confidence for the rest of the session but the temperature plummeted overnight and it seemed to turn them off. You should've bought a Trakker Tempest Aquatex 150. Yes it's more expensive but it's a better bivvy with a bigger footprint (10' 3" wide )= more room. Personally I think ithe XD is too tall and flat for windy conditions. Nice camo pattern though. Absolute fortune for the Trakker one. Hope it serves you well. Tight lines bro 👍

    This is the wartime airfield Battle HQ of RAF Ibsley. Most WW2 airfields had them, it was where operations would have been conducted in the event of a German invasion and the airfield overrun by enemy forces. It is unique in having twin observation cupolas offering a 360 degree view of the outside world through the narrow slit around them. Inside would be the main room for the defence officer, a messengers room and a telephone exchange, or PBX. Toilet facilities were primitive, just an Elsan chemical toilet. Surrounding the BHQ can be seen the remains of a defensive trench, and gun pits (large drainpipes sunk into the ground).

      @@lukeoxford Reading mostly, and the internet of course, searching for info. on specific places, and the Pillbox Study Group Forum www.tapatalk.com/groups/pillboxstudygroup/index.php . All mostly borrowed from other people's knowledge! Lol. Another useful website is Atlantikwall, particularly the section on UK RAF airfields: www.atlantikwall.co.uk/# (click on the Menu and choose "Great Britain"). Cheers!
