Nice video. We were there too😀. What a fantastic festival it was this year, amazing weather.

This is most likely my only festival for this summer for me, hope you enjoy the highlight reel.

She's musically brilliant, a real talent, but she dances like your drunk aunt at a wedding - who's also been spiked with a gram of speed!! Its over the top with no pattern to it. A bit like Amy Taylor..

Ah yes. The annual benefit gig for the levellers. Myself and my volunteers were expected to work 14 hour days for free here looking after the guests teenagers. I think it worked out we had about 30p a head to provide 14 hours a day supervised activities. Not bad considering a teen ticket is 185quid. Don't think I'll bother next year.

This is so professional and fantastic. Love your pebble work and that I noticed Katie waving in the bus at the end of your video as that was my very end to Musicport. On the bus and then Katie waving me goodnight as I carried Robot back to the car without him flying over West Cliff :-) excellent job, well done 👏🤩🙏

Hopefully the festival can live on, it would be a great shame for the town to lose it. Fingers crossed!

Great little recap to what was an absolutely amazing day. I was there too and was likely near to you in line as we got in the store at around 2ish after queuing from 9am. Spent waaaay more than I bargained for! We hot-footed it down to The Social straight after the balcony show for the after party not really expecting him to show up but he did a little later in the evening - not to play but was casually having a drink upstairs (with Olivia and the Bens and others). I was going to play it cool and walk past but just had to say hi or I would've regretted it. He was gracious and friendly, said he loves London and will be back often. I've been back to the store twice since (I'm not far away) and most of the stock they had on opening day was gone and had not been yet replenished so that table looked a little sparse, probably just as well for my pocket!

Great hearing your experience, which was almost exactly the same as mine on the day. The irritation with the queuing and the prices - all the prices in the shop were shown EX VAT - the John Peel was £35 + VAT so £42. The camaraderie in the queue and the fun of chatting with like-minded people for hours. The anticipation when we twigged what was going on up on that balcony. The utter joy at the gig itself. I joined the queue at about 8:40 and the time stamp on my receipt is 14:32, so you can't have been far from me. And that was my 22nd time seeing him live, so you're not far from me there either :-)

JW is just a businessman now and even has the appearance of one. He's ventured into interior design, etc and looks poncy. He's more entrepreneur and less musician.
