    Bro: heavy weight + limited RoM in the strongest range, which is 2 - 3 inches of movement in the direction of maximal contraction, beyond the weakest range. To test that out; try close grip pull-ups to point of failure. Remember: rest and recovery relative to the targeted compound muscle group with the aim of achieving measurable progressive gain is the bottom line.

    • @undeniable90
      @undeniable90 9 днів тому

      I'll definitely give that a try for a few weeks. See what I think about it. Thanks, man. Here soon, I'm going to be switching it up to a lot more compound movements too.

I don't believe GOD created us, just to throw us in hell when we didn't obey cuz that not free will, that's called coercion. But yet he loves us... To many wholes in the story for me. Warm-up set are to make sure everything is moving right to get the blood flowing. For me personally, I don’t trust myself Enough to not do a proper warm-up because I’m terrified of getting injured. One injury and all that progress goes out the window for a while and you have to build back so it’s more a hedge against injury than taking 10 lbs off my high set.

      Honestly, I think it's the training methodology. And I've been consistently posting.

  • @FrankLewis040
    @FrankLewis040 16 днів тому

    That's why they call certain sets "junk volume." When you're physically exhausted and still hitting sets, your central nervous system (CNS) is what's tired/ overtaxed. For example: let's use chest and triceps as a workout. If you go in and destroy chest and you have no energy left, but then you try and hit triceps. Your CNS will be your limiting factor for rep count and workout efficiency, not your muscles. So you're putting in 100% effort, but only stressing the muscle at 60%, 70%, 80%. That's the science behind it. Don't wait until you're exhausted to start hitting other workouts. Either workout faster or split the workout differently.

    • @undeniable90
      @undeniable90 15 днів тому

      @FrankLewis040 Yeah, even though you have more muscularly, your CNS becomes the bottle neck in a way. I can see that. It's systemic fatigue rather than local.

      @TheManAndOrGuy 17 днів тому

      False, it doesn’t affect the total amount of reps that can be done. You ideally should do it with the least amount of rest possible. So do it as soon as your nervous system is ready for it.

    How come you don't just use the bench to create the incline cable fly? Seems more like a variation of a shoulder press when standing. What kind of rack is that by the way?

    • @undeniable90
      @undeniable90 19 днів тому

      I do use that variation sometimes. But for me, going past a point of failure is always a motivating factor in the workouts I choose. Standing I can use momentum to get the weight up and then catching the negatives. For some reason, I can just get really targeted with the contraction and stretch in that movement. The rack is by Major Fitness it's the Spirit B52 model.
