We have a device that can directly convert Tesla electricity to power the house. It can be used directly by plugging it into the charging port.
@@Jornyang-w8n the only Tesla vehicle that has bi-directional capability right now is the Cyber truck. Rumor is the refresh model y will have it as well

Oh ok, yeah that makes more sense. I just bought one of these chargers. I usually charge my vw id4. With solar i built my own solar array ground mount. I love it. My solar battery bank is huge, goes a long way.
So I just got this charger in today. Plugged it into a receptical in my garage. Show 12 amps on the charger. But only charges my car at 1kw. Any ideas what could be wrong?
@carlosreyes6448 that sounds about right. What you were going to really need is the NEMA1450 outlet and you can run that up to 32 amps , which will give you around 11 kilowatts of charging almost 10 times as fast as you are now. I charge it one kilowatt a night at work, so I'm in the same boat
Oh ok so I did try it with 240v. And it started at 8.5k and went down to 6.5k so. Not sure if it's just my car it's a vw id4.

@@katleman you do not need that at all. It will plug directly into the cigarette lighters with absolutely no issues. I did it as more of a test and it runs a little more efficiently this way.
