Alternate Future
Initially tried to create an ambient drone piece but ended up here. Guess that’s the way it is with modular. The machine sometimes nudges you into different directions.
Just Friends was sequenced by Pamela’s Pro Workout, then filtered through Three Sisters. 4ms EnvVCA provided modulation. uBurst (Clouds) added reverb and some granular effects. Qu-Bit Surface was also sequenced by Pam’s, but routed through 2hp DIV clock divider. It was then sent through Morphagene and Magneto for a blend of delay and other effects. Some additional reverb was added in Ableton Live using @phonolyth Cascade. 1963-64 New York World’s Fair footage via Prelinger Archives. 🎧

Was noodling around for a couple hours with some ambient sequences from Hermod and MI Plaits. Not much interesting was happening till I doubled the tempo, and re-routed the patch into @makenoisemusic DXG low pass gate and MI Beads. I guess my best advice is to play around with melodies using those plugins till you hear something you like that sounds similar? Adding reverb and other effects can help in creating an ambient vibe. Have fun

Sure,, realized I wasn't quite clear in the description. The main sound is coming out of Calsynth Rangoon, which is a clone of Mutable Instruments Rings module. Delay effects are coming from Qu-Bit Nautilus. I added reverb using Valhalla Supermassive plugin after the audio from the modular synth was recorded into Ableton Live.

Somewhat autonomously. Marbles can act like a Turing Machine and create randomly generated and patterned sequences.The parameters are adjusted by the user for note spread, scale, etc. Additional modules in the rack create and module sounds, while other modules add effects.
