I will NEVER UNDERSTAND and will never FORGET HOW the PROS BEAT THIS GAME and THE TIMES I HAD sweating and restarting having Anxiety with this game. I had Absolutely no CHOICE but to play on easy mode at times. NO MATTER WHAT I DONE. 🤣🤣🤣😬😬😬😬🤦🤦🤦🤦😤😤😤😤it was a fucking NIGHTMARE. Im at like 98/111 and i havent touched it since last year or 2 🤦just by watching this omgggg. 😂😂i can already picture it again

I tried to beat it for hours and then had a break. After restarting the game rubber banding was much lighter I think and I won in 1st attempt on hard. Does anyone have similar experience? I drove Miata with all possible upgrades. My last lap was 1:04:47 and the rest was under 1:10:00, except one lap time 1:20:30 with big crash on lap 4th.

7:06 Your eyes should already be on the road crossing your path, looking for traffic. You can clearly see the truck, yet decide to crash directly in to it. Skill issue. You can complete the 6 laps in let's say 6:30 at your best. The AI does it on average in lets say 6:40. Regardless of what you do on the track. Just drive your pace to achieve 6:40 or less. One bad crash costs you 10+ seconds. That's more than enough to lose the race no matter what lap. It's not about the rubberbanding or some other excuses. It's about consistently driving good laps without crashing. Every single video about event 95 or 103 being impossible is people crashing for no reason and blaming "rigged" AI. Yes, it's programmed to keep your pace (hence the trick with using a stock car for these races works) to keep the game competitive. It has a set time to complete the course based on your pace, so it corners with impossible speeds if you get far away. On your third restart the AI was generous enough to wait for you and let you overtake with zero effort, then you had the lead for the entire race and crashed like that? 30 seconds before the finish? And you blame the AI for being too unforgiving? At 21:30 you already knew you were going to bounce off the wall and could see the grey car (your eyes should always be there, not on your own car), why not steer to the right after the impact to hug the wall for a bit longer? Even then you had time to avoid it. Oh, and the way you miraculously won is the way AI sometimes wins when you drive like a noob. I wouldn't take that cheap win and restarted. The AI overly generously waited for you to catch up. Imagine if the places were switched. If the AI crashed so stupidly 30 seconds before the finish, losing 10+ seconds. Would it have any chance to win against you? I don't think so.

What settings do you recommend for street stage? I use controller and I constantly either over or understeer I think my stick isn’t calibrated properly cause it feels like there’s no dead zone like I’m using the d pad

You get my respect simply for using eurobeat that isnt just Running in the 90s Or Deja vu

i recently passed underground 1 again and I remember these dreadful circuit races that got me stuck for days as a kid, now i completed them in maybe 5 tries maximum. You need to use rear view mirrors and be a dick to these AI players, body-block them, ram into them, behave like the biggest Forza Motorsport lobby asshole imaginable. If you get overtaken, don't restart and don't try to catch them up like your life depended on it. Let them get a 4 second lead, this will turn off their relentless rubberband mode (where they have infinite grip and downforce, making it damn nearly impossible to overtake). Once the AI is in regular driving mode, you'll easily catch up and overtake them. I had much more issues and restarts with drag races than those events. Fuck drag. Trial and error gameplay, get totaled 10 times and win by memorizing where traffic is.

Somehow I never had problems with it as a child, but replaying it last year I had to do quite a lot of retries with this race! Funny enough, race 103 was the bane of my existence as a child, and as an adult I just breezed through it

for me, it's even esier if i use the honda civic

mods fun so far but oh boy the understeer model plus insta SUPER DRIFT the handbrake makes you go into makes tight corners at the start of the game (namely the rookie tournament) unplayable/unbeatable

Dunno how, but I finished this game like 3 days ago and I just won event 95 and 103 in my first try lol

I'm pretty sure as a kid, event 95 happened to be where I got stuck and can't continue on. So let me break down on what's actually going on here: So kurt, who was a re-ocurring character in the storyline, happens to bought himself an RX7. Which is one of the best car in the entire game. Letting you unlock it after completing 73 events. In fact, dare i say, despite being perfect for drifting, it also do really good in drag racing. (Found that out through marcy2200's video) and he possibly his car upgraded to Max level. Which could prove a bit of a challenge. The level however expects you to drive 6 full laps around market Street. Which have a lot of light corners as well as 4 shortcuts. There's even one section where the road only have 2 lanes. Making it tight for you to properly maneuver. And depending on the difficulty you choose, it'll more likely your opponents is going to act aggressive and take those shortcuts more easier. The traffic setting I presume looks to be set to light. Since it doesn't seem like that the traffic could be appropriate to be in these areas to keep the realism. So now let me tell you how long your gonna have to continue this race for. I searched for the quickest lap time this person have done. Which is 1:05:12. So I had to multiply the time by 6. The end result I got for calculating all of that is that you'll have to drive around as much as 6 minutes and 30.72 seconds, to around somewhere between 8 to 9 minutes. (I know it wasn't as accurate, but it should be the average a normal person could do.) So basically 6 and a half minutes of flawless driving while making sure you don't make one major mistake, or a few minor ones. Which is starting to get more difficult. But that not all. The game have a mechanic called rubber-banding. Which makes the car far behind them more quicker to catch up with the player. So all 3 things, the map, the average time, and the fact that you have to deal with the rubber banding mechanic, it could potentially put a lot of stress into your brain if your trying to be flawless. In fact, you might possibly have to. The map itself was already difficult, and the AI wouldn't hold any punches anyways. So it's your best intrest to just keep going, avoid every mistake, avoid traffic, use nitro to catch up, and get the win. So it's clear that event 95 is potentially the most difficult out of all. I'm even sure that pros also mightve have a difficult time with it too. So it's very difficult... if you want to keep it as a clean race. There is one way that you could make it easier. And much like what forty does, it's easier to put someone in a hospital for quite awhile. You could also try to spun out and crash your opponents. Which makes it easier for you to get 1st place. So being very aggressive is also your best stragety if you have to. It's always best to adapt to your strageties sometimes. So yeah, from my experience and possibly the others, event 95 is easily one of the hardest parts of the entire campaign. And I mean one of them.

Nah bruh. Kurt is so lazy opponent. All my restarts ends when my car ride 270km/h and freaking Jarrus overtakes on 3rd and 5th turns on speed 400000km/h. All freaking god damn time. Every lap.

Mannnnnn the rubber banding in this race took me out I beat it after 20 some try’s
