Beginner Sewing Project: Knit Loungewear Pants
I very nice tutorial but not so much that background music. Hard to concentrate. Beautiful polka dot material.
Thanks, I’ll choose different music next time.
You don't take the backing off of the vinyl? I just got my cricut and I'm trying to figure it out. Lol
Yes, with non-HTV vinyl you have to remove the backing :)
Perfect
Thank you!
Distracted by the music and you seemed rushed . I couldn’t fallow you you went too fast for me .
Sorry about the music. Thanks for watching!
so sorry, couldn’t finish watching because of the music!
Thanks for the feedback
yes PLEASE get rid of the music. Sooo unnecessary!!!
Thanks for letting me know!
Hi :) I'm curious to know a year later, how was/is the durability of this vinyl?
It held up great! I do think it depends on the material you are adhering the vinyl to, but for this, essentially vinyl on vinyl, it was perfect!
Loved how you give instructions while you sew. But the music was very annoying. Quieter music is certainly needed as background music.
Thanks for the suggestions!
Difficult to hear you over the non-essential noisy music!
Thanks for letting me know!
Am I the only one that can't watch because of the background music?
If you read the comments, you will see you are not alone! Thanks for the feedback!
Sorry, seam line, seaplane.
Thanks for clarifying!
Nice video. That is not stitch in the ditch. SID means sewing in channel of preexisting seaplane to secure to another piece for security & so won't be extra stitch line.
Sorry, correction, seam line not seaplane.
Thanks for the feedback!
Music is very distracting!
Thanks for the feedback!
This would be the best apron tutorial on UA-cam if she went back and took that music off. Everything is great
Thanks for the feedback!
An apron in 20 minutes? It takes me that long to decide on the fabric!
It's often like that for me too!
When you make another apron try taking the binding across, if you start at one side leaving enough to then run it across and down side you will save turning the top over
Thanks for the tip!
I saw that recently and thought about buying it! Looks like it works!❤
It's so good!
A few times
👍👍👍
Loved your pink apron so cute! Also, loved the music reminded me of Doris Day movies or Bewitched! Lol. Thank you for sharing!!
Thank you! I love watching Doris day moves and bewitched! Lol
Perfect! So simple and thank you for making your video bite sized! I can't wait to make my own. I just used my cricut and it had about a 1/2" of dust on it. Yuck!
You are so welcome!
Super cute! Thanks for showing us the process of construction
You are so welcome!
Thank you!!
You're welcome!
Music is too much- sorry but Bye-Bye
Thanks for the feedback!
Haben sie auch die Maße zu dieser Tasche
Measurements are available with the pattern and the link is in the video description :)
Love the tutorial …but stopped watching when I saw that beautiful ironing board!! The size is wonderful where did you source that baby from?thank you
Thank you! It’s a quilters ironing board by Singer. I got mine from a sewing supply store, it was a special order that was returned. I’ve seen them on Amazon as well.
What an amazing view!
Thank you! It’s my family farm :)
Pattern would be great. Its not on your website
Hi Kristie, The pattern is now on the website. You could find the link in the description of this video.
You are too far away
Thanks for the feedback!
@@thefriendlyfoxsorry if I’m late. I just got into crafting. Have you purchased a Bluetooth microphone? I love your video!
Thanks for this! I want to show my 9 year old sister how to do this, and this video was just what I needed
Glad it was helpful!
I also would like to know where to purchase the pattern
Thanks for your patience, pattern is now available via the link in the description of this video.
These are so cute!! Do you have the pattern available as well? I found your recommended supplies, but not the pattern. I would love to have access to purchase your pdf!!
Hi there, thanks for your comment! Yes, the pattern is now available on our website. I've added the link to the description of the video :)

Hi Kristy, Thanks for your comment! While I can't make it for you, the pattern we created is available on www.thefriendlyfox.co
Good video but the music is so annoying!
Thanks for letting us know!
The music is not appreciated while watching your videos.
Thanks for the feedback!
I liked the apron, it is cute, You gave very good instructions, I did not like the music playing because it interfered with you giving us instrustctions. I am probably the only one who feels that way, but it was annoying to me.
Thanks for the feedback! You’re not the only one, several mentioned the music and I changed it for future videos.
Very well done! I enjoyed the music too as it seamed (pun intended) to go very well with the entire show. Thanks!
You understood my goal with the music! 🩷
Love this ❤ thank you 😊
You are so welcome!
Very nice! I love those connecting seams! Can’t wait to try. Thank you for sharing.
You are so welcome!
Gonna have to save this. We just bought two old chairs at an estate auction, and I may need to reupholster them in the near future.
Hermoso, lo haré....no se mucho de tecnología pero tratare de mandarle foto
Excelente!
Sooo you don’t need a heat press?? 😧
This video is for permanent vinyl on a non fabric surface. For Heat Transfer Vinyl (HTV) A heat press is a great tool because it heats evenly and if it’s a large one it heats the entire piece at once. However, you don’t need one, an iron will work just fine as long as you make sure to leave it on long enough for the vinyl to bond to the fabric. 😊 hope that helps!
Just what I needed; I am planning to reupholster my dining chair cushions. 😊
Glad it was helpful! We’ll be doing part 2 (the base) in the next few days!
@@thefriendlyfox I look forward to the video. The chairs I am recovering are for a Chinese dining room table. They have some tricky cut outs at the back of the cushion, but I if I stick to the original pattern I will be fine.
Sounds like an interesting project!
The black piece of the rubber what is it called? Thank you ahead
It's a fabric used for baby boots. It can be found on Amazon if you type "Antislip Vinyl Non Slip Fabric Rubber Non Skid Rubber Treated Fabric" into the search.
I agree why the music. I really, really, really wanted to see your video to the end.But the music interfered so much.I had to go to another video so sorry
Thanks for letting me know!
I love your #cricut projects!
Thank you!
I love the pattern, by the way, you have a beautiful view out of your window.
Thank you!
Thank you!!
You're welcome!
So you just stuck it on like a sticker?
Yep! That's how the permanent vinyl works, it is so simple.
@@thefriendlyfox Wow! Thanks.
Hello. A few questions. Do you have an estimate of fabric required for one way fabric? Suggestions for fabric weight? Also for the interfacing needed? In addition, I purchased the pattern but it is unclear if the dotted line is the sewing line or not? Better instructions for putting the pattern together would be useful as in my print out not all pieces were labeled ( c1, d2, etc.) Hope to hear back especially about the estimated fabric. Thank you.
Hi, thanks for your question! Purchase one yard/metre of the main fabric. That will give you enough for some pockets. Purchase about a half yard/metre in the lining fabric. The dotted line is the sewing line - the solid line is the seam allowance. Thanks for the feed back about labeling, if you open the attached PDF labeled "overview" the pieces are labeled as what each one is. :)
@@thefriendlyfox Thank you so much for the super quick reply.
No problem!@@safetylesfeldyfan1087
