As a Korean, I would like to express my deep respect and gratitude to the veterans who fought for the free Republic of Korea.

even im not a korean, but this movie resonates so close to me as fellow human being, every war is a civil war between humans and its such a tragedy most politicians are still greedy and being egoistic by sacrificing young people to reach their goals and ambitions up to this day

Its actually a crime this movie isnt more well-known. Its one of the best movies ever made, period

For those who have not seen it; I highly recommend that you do. A near perfect movie. And I don’t give 5 stars to many films.

Being Korean watching this movie was intense , especially this scene. Idk why but knowing that his older brother never returned to finish his shoes gets me every time.

It seems the end of "Saving Private Ryan".

I saw my dad cry here - in this scene. He lost his brother to machine gun fire and my uncle died on his hands...

in case you didn't notice, the older brother is fighting for north korea whereas the younger brother is fighting for south korea...
