I love how quiet that Burgman is

I had to giglle when Mike thought 85 mph was top speed for a 400 Burgman. Strange that all the other ones claim 106 mph for top speed. 85 mph is just cruising speed!!

I would be all over the forza 750 even a 350 ... I told the dealer that if honda didn't bring the forza line back to the US, my next bike would probably be a yamaha or suzuki

I have a 2018 Spyder RT L that I bought recently. I like it but it seems like some of the electronic systems were designed to meet the requirements of a Can Am lawyer rather than an engineer. The safety card acknowledgement is one example. Another is how the bike goes into limp mode to punish you for minor infractions. The first day I had it I was hovering over the brake pedal while the throttle was slightly open. It went into limp mode.

Sorry for your issues. I bought a 23 limited new and absolutely love it more and more I ride it. At first wasn't too sure about the touchiness of the steering, but within 4-6 rides I figured it out (the lighter the grip on the bars the better it steers). Anyway I hope you find a good dealer that can solve these issues because it truly is a wonderful bike. I know this sounds crazy, but check the battery connections. These need to be TIGHT. Also a weak battery will cause a bunch of errors.

Well Nancy, we've had ours for one month now with near 300 mi on and I'm feeling the same about the items you've noted here. I think we have the same color, too. It's my first bike ever, so I'm thrilled to be out. The wife wants a ride every night! They could improve some of these features, but I like it! Thanks for the report. Happy riding!

Yeah glad I went with the Goldwing. They wouldn't let me test ride it. Who buys 30 grand worth of product without a test ride. They let me Test ride a Goldwing and I bought it.

Just bought a Bergman 400 yesterday. Looking forward to familiarizing riding again starting in the neighborhood, but really nervous about when the time comes for me to attempt the expressway!

I love my 2021 sea to sky , but there are somethings you should know before you buy. If you can't perform your own ,say oil, filter changes, Maintenance is very expensive. They charge $535.00 for oil, filter change. Also $250.00 to change rear tire, if you have your own tire. You can expect to get around 10,000 to 11,000 miles on rear tire. Good luck on yours.

I started using marvel mystery oil in my Spyder went from twenty nine miles per gallon , two thirty five.

I just turned down a 2023 full dress model for several reasons. I was not impressed with the dealership and their lack of enthusiasm for the Spyder. They seem to like to try to sell quad side by side machines that are not all even road legal. They have only 2 spyders here in Feb of 2024 and not one 2024 model. I also could not test drive one because of insurance problems (they said). I could if I bought it! Another reason is that they claim to have sold a bunch of them here in Tucson but, I haven't seen a one on the road yet! Nice looking machines and I really thought I wanted one. Not so sure now.

That big truck was moving. Heavy goods vehicles in the UK and Europe are limited to a max of 56mph (90kph).

You are not doing 85mph,get a satnav fitted and working on your bike then ride it again showing 85mph then look at your satnav,it will be showing a slower speed.I have ridden the scooter on a motorway and it was struggling to do 70mph in windy conditions,I doubt your scooter will do 80mph because of the wind.My scooter was a Suzuki Burgman 400.I did have a suzuki Burgman 650 and that had trouble at fast speeds.

When you turn the key on press the mode button before it boots up and it will bypass the ( read instructions mode) try it out!

I put 5000 miles on a 2019 Burgman 400 and that thing ran better on the interstate than I thought it would. The mpg's got better the longer you were out there, and the bike was heavy enough to stick to the road. Top speed was unknown but I had more speed available even at 85 mph. I saw 79 mpg at one point but I like backroads on a bike. 65mpg was the most common average. Great bike.

You might want to test ride a Piaggio MP3, it'll give you the biggest smile you've ever had. You get the stability of three wheels that you can lock upright when at stops, but at speed the suspension lets you lean like a two wheeler but with the added pavement contact of three wheels. You also can add Givi cases for touring. 👍🇺🇸😎. 🇮🇹 With all the tension over world events, I worry about flight crews. Be safe.

It's reasons like this that I never buy new vehicles. Dealers will screw you over any chance they get.

Was the start of the video around Katy, Houston? I'm from the UK and have never been to the US but I enjoy watching Quasimotard videos and it looked like the same area he often rides. Nice video and a great scooter.

Nothing like going on the highway with a scooter. Not have to worry about hitting gears and other things. Scooters are a lot of fun, especially in the 650 would have been better for the highway. A little bit more heavier. You would have felt a whole lot safer on it. But they do not make them anymore. Would love to know why that was a good machine. You can get app to a 110 miles an hour on that 650 bird man.

I sold my 2018 RT Limited after 12K miles. Two of my strong dislikes were, 1) It required premium gas, 2) you'll only get about 10K miles on the rear tire before having to replace it. And replacing it ain't cheap! A few others, changing oil is a major effort. Replacing the battery requires removing the entire front end of the bike. The Can Am technology is about a decade behind most other touring bikes. While I did enjoy riding it, I now ride a Goldwing with a trike conversion kit.

Man you should get with a club or at least go to rallys! Premium gas so what it's a hot rod. All the sniveling you have done has been over come. Just costs $ Up grade supension, screen, exhaust, gps. You just don't know. So go get on a 2 whlr. Mine works fine , go join a group and get educated than a superor ryde.

Thank you for this video. We ride a HD Tri-Glide due to my wife's many health issues, but it rides like a dump truck and is extremely hard to steer. I am wanting to go back to two wheels, but I want a smooth ride so I'm looking at scooters. I was looking hard at Kymco X-Roads 300i but the videos saiy it struggles and had a lot of vibrations at speeds of 60mph and above. So I decided to look at something a little larger. I don't want a real large heavy scooter like a 650, so I've now decided on a 400cc. We have ridden somewhere between 300,000 and 400,000 by motorcycle (mostly large ones) and there are still certain roads I hate to ride. We live in Ohio and ride a lot on devided highways where the speed limit is 70 mph. We usually run 65mph to be more relxed. But the outer belt around Columbus (270) makes me nervous. The outer belt around Cincinnati(275) makes me REAL nervous, The West Viginia Turnpke Rt77) makes me nervous, But Rt 81 in Virginia I will NEVER ride again. It is a white knuckle highway. You keep a firm grip on the bars all the way and your blood pressure probably goes out of sight. Semis changing lanes at 85plus MPH zig zagging here and there. No way will I ever do that road again.
