Shot on a Sunday as so many of the shops were closed? Hving visited Lille a few times, it seemed a random selection of "mini-walks"; the same places seemed to come up over and again, and you didn't do justice to the amazing colours of the older buildings.... but enjoyable, all the same!

i dont know man i dont feel it anymore, our government is slowly becoming an authoritarian one. We have a government we didnt vote for, they keep on implementing messed up things like anpr cameras, average speed zones that breach the law on privacy and they are constantly limiting our freedom of speech more and more. For self employed people its horrible in this country because they suck all your proffit away, up to 60%. even as a non proffesional they even take half of the money you inherit in taxes, thats right ... stuff and savings your parents have worked their whole lifes for is just taken by the government because they feel like they deserve half of it. They come after your hobbies if they are slightly loud or unsafe like motocross. Now you cant even get a pickuptruck with tax benefits like any utility vehicle. Motorcycles need inspection now which kills so many people their hobby. you cant enter cities anymore if your vehicle has some age in the LEZ zones. being drunk on your bicycle is fined as badly as being drunk in your car which is completely bonkers. so many events and parties are now impossible because they have to close as soon as someone bitches about sound (this whole country is being catered to the easily offended and scared) Hell you cant even buy big vanilla and coffee cigars anymore because "oh no it might be unhealthy" all iof this are just limitations on the working people, in the major cities the real criminals and thugs hardly ever face justice. There are so many aspects of belgium which is being destroyed by these absurd rules, regulations and mass surveilance. I really hope we can get a good government in 2024 that will put an end and reverse this madness I am proud of my herritage, but embarrassed of where the future is taking us. i am absolutely SICK of it tbh
