@@xxbatat4xx I haven't tried the non-magnetic QiYi, no. I can say that the magnetic QiYi is on about the same level as the Diansheng. I don't like either of them now that I've got the DaYan though. If you can save up for one, then the DaYan really is the best FTO and by a very very wide margin

@@benpuzzles I was so confused when I took another look at that post. At one point I thought they had used one of my photos of the LanLan but the colour scheme's wrong 😅

@@ColorBlock11 hard to say I can't recommend the QiYi or the Diansheng for anyone who wants to speedsolve FTO because DaYan is so so much better. That being said if you want a decent FTO as a beginner, then either the Diansheng or QiYi is good enough. The Diansheng is smaller and smoother but the edges pop out a lot, it performs well but those explosions can be devastating. If you'd prefer stability and reliability at the cost of a slightly blockier puzzle then go for the QiYi. I have fast times with the DS and QiYi so they're still usable, they just hurt my hands and fail to perform at the same level as the DaYan

@@EddtheRexMan I’ll most likely get the Qiyi cuz it sounds like the ds has more downsides then the Qiyi

And most of the issues u were describing in the Qiyi can be fixed with setup

@@ColorBlock11 you'd want to Florian mid to reduce the catches, and the springs are very short so there's not a lot of room for tensions You could get by on the QiYi just fine as a beginner though

@@EddtheRexMan I've done spring mods before so I don't think that that is a problem and I wouldn't be able to do a florian mod. I'll get the qiyi one thx for the tips man rlly appreciate them
