Beautiful blue!
where is this car?
Why buy a Caddy when you can have this for less.
My dad had one new in 76, black with black Leather interior. Great car
This car can be yours if you want to buy it it’s looks mint
That's a car you can drive for years and years and years and years, they never get old,at least not the engine.
Got to have that one.
Beautiful piece of rolling art.
That was the best year of them all even nicer than the 75.
You still have this OB IF SO PLZ LET ME KNOW
What did this sell for?
man i hope you still look at your comments i have a 87 187 with a 3.0 mercruiser just wondering if you know where i could get parts for these boats at doesn’t seem like to many places know of them
This car looks like it was hermetically sealed in a time capsule from 1976! My best friend dad owned one back in 76.' Looks just like it, only his was white with Burgundy vinyl top. I was 15 at the time lol. The ride was like no other. Except maybe a Cadillac De'ville from that era. How much did you get for it? Just curious.
I worked at a Buick-Oldsmobile dealership when these were new. What wonderful cars they were. Thanks for helping me relieve my youth.
love it to the max
Sorry - I know this video is over 3 years old, and that 98 is long gone, but there is no way that car had only 80 miles on the clock. Why is that, you may ask? 1. That engine compartment showed a lot of signs of a higher mileage car. Such as different belts, and the air cleaner label peeling off and heat-worn, among other idiosyncrasies I noticed. 2. The power antenna only goes up a few inches? Shouldn't be like that on a car with only 80 miles. That antenna should be going up all the way. 3. That right front tire looks baby-ass bald. 4. That window sticker (where's the other half by the way?) looks like a cheap photocopy taped to the window. 5. Why not a look in the trunk or at the undercarriage? Those places will really tell you if a car has only 80 miles on it. I wish I could have come across this video 3 years ago - I could have made potential buyers aware of being scammed.
I suppose it reversed its whole life long.
Might want to tighten the belts, other than that, pure gold.
Amazing. What a stunningly beautiful car. Have always loved the 98, Oldsmobile’’s version of the Cadillac Sedan de Ville. Whoever gets this one is truly lucky.
It has the original tires. I can tell by the treads design.
how about a description about what I am looking at???
Whoa! I didn't know they made these in the Linden, NJ plant. The last cars made there were GMC Jimmy and Chevy Blazer in 2005 when the plant finally closed. Down the road, was the Ford plant too.
Had one almost like it. Same color, my seats and door panels not as fancy. Magnificent car, nothing today comes even close.1976 mercury grand marquis were also super nice
I would love to own this car this is a true time capsule
My dad had the this car in Silver with a Red interior . Never would I imagine after 46 years after we got it i'd still miss that car .
A friend of mine had one triple Black with real dual,s on it that car was sweet
76 Big Old's 98 nice 👍
76 Big Old's 98 nice 👍
Should have tapped the gas to kick the fast idle down before driving into the garage.
🇺🇸👑👍🏻
Back when GM made beautiful and substantial cars.
I have one myself 1975 with 51k great shape as well but not like this one. Always having a hard time finding parts like the plastics and stuff. Any info for parts would help
I have a '76 with 40K on it and the rear bumper fillers have cracks in them that I keep chasing by putting GOOP over the new cracks, I have found Replica plastics had them available a couple of months ago on their web site
I hope all fluids and tires have been changed
Definitely for a museum. Contact Jay Lenno. (Numb, sloppy power steering, very quiet, fancy coachwork, epitome of controlled but floaty suspension with big springs with truck-size shock absorbers, 75R15 tires. Truth be told, this is at the end of the land yacht, which coincided with early clumsy attempts of pollution control, which coincided also with poor QC from the big three. Smaller, well-made imports were about to eat their lunch.)
Last year of the big ones
Everything with a seal or hose and all fluids need replacement just did a 75 Fleetwood 211 original miles
What an amazing time capsule....How the heck did they keep it so nicely...
Brand new 1976 98 regency. Hell those are demo miles
Amazing car
Would give the video a thumbs up. But it says 442 Likes.
One word WOW
Love it! Especially it’s almost Cadillac taillights.
Put it in a derby where it belongs
Gotta love the Cookie Monster interior.
Parking was clearly a challenge back in the day.
I think it’s terrible to store away such a nice car and not enjoy it! He probably pulls that out of the garage twice a year and lets it idle for 30 minutes! Ridiculous! All the while, the under carriage rusts and the plastic and rubber parts rot out. And it doesn’t get to be enjoyed by someone who uses it for what it was made to do... drive.
Awesome car.
The plastics and vinyl are in great shape. Somebody really took great care of this automobile.
Almost unheard of. A real time capsule. Should be in a museum.
instablaster.
My fiance almost bought a 76 with 80,000 miles as her first car 😅
Disagree. Cars need to be driven and enjoyed or they wither away.
Wish I could find a great car like this.
