Premiere Pro Markers to Youtube Timestamps/ Chapters
Переглядів 1,7 тис.2 роки тому
To make UA-cam videos easier for viewers to navigate, it is helpful to list timestamps/ time codes in the video description area, kind of like chapter markers on a DVD. Premiere Pro has the ability to create Markers through shortcut keys, but I always found it difficult to get the time and text of those time codes into a format I could paste on UA-cam. As I show in the video, the best solution ...
Apple M1 Chip Workaround for Toon Boom Harmony Premium

My friend Xavier Green figured out how to get missing pieces of a rig to show up in the OpenGL (working Camera View) when using an Apple M1 Chip computer. At the time of this recording, Toon Boom Harmony is not officially M1 Chip compatible, but this workaround has helped my friends with M1 Chips.

To make sure people who use the rig in the future are aware of all the rig has to offer, I am leaving more notes. I spend some time posing a couple more special poses and finally I decide to update the build of the eyes so that the white of the eyes are synched with the eyelids so that animators can quickly swap through a blink cycle. 18 Recreating Master Controllers for the 360° Turn | The Baked Potato Rigging Course

The rig essentially has double the number of poses compared to the 180° version of the rig. When adding that many more poses, I simply replace the Master Controllers I created earlier. When I just need to update a few keyframed positions, I would use the Unroll Wizard to keep the same grids and then save over the old Master Controllers. There are two common ways I create shoes: 1. Draw swaps (best for detailed shoes). 2. Use envelope deformers to achieve all the positions of the shoes (best for simple designs, like this potato). To see how the shoes were originally built, refer to the video “Build the Leg” to see how I added deformers to the shoe ua-cam.com/video/iTON1I6Ckhg/v-deo.html, and the “Pose Test” video to see how the...

Because of that, the animators often don't know everything the rig is capable of....

Its better than paid courses available out there. my humble request to you -- make courses on cut out animation for Udemy. Udemy courses are really affordable for people like me who are learning and not making money as of yet

Oh, where have you been! I've seen your "The Baking Potato Rigging Course" playlist like two months ago. (Sorry, i'm late ;) You were really good at teaching rigging to people, even to rookies like me. :) Then i looked at your channel and i've seen that your last video were *one year ago.* I said to myself; "I guess we just lost a great animator in the platform.." And now, you're back! You just posted 3 hours ago! ovo Ah, right. I was about to say: You are so underrated! One day, with what i learned from you, i will be a great animator in youtube! When i succeed, i will share a video like; "How i make animations" and i will introduce your channel to my Turkish and English speaking subscribers! I promise. Goodbye for now. You have a big place in my heart. I will always support you.

Great series! Great tutor! Really love your work and you're my big inspiration in pursuing to be an animator and rigger in toon boom! I have a question though. I know it's been a while since this video being uploaded but maybe you'll be able to answer :) You constructed this layered hand and a normal version of it without the layering. But you made it in such a way that if you want to move the layered one, you need to plug in those extra pegs to be able to move/animate it. But the problem is that during animation, the animator may want to switch between both of them. A system where you have to connect and disconnect the pegs won't let you do that. Because You can't actually animate this plugging in operation etc. And animating this could not be such a rare thing, you know. Like lifting something and having a layered hand, but then you need to switch to a different drawing further along the scene. Also, the animator would need to know that he needs to plug this in etc. I would rather avoid a situation where an animator needs to modify the rig as much as needed. The obvious solution would be to use sync layers instead. And on certain drawing disabling the layered hand etc. But there are some downsides to that you've mentioned in the video. But maybe you have a different workaround etc ? Any thoughts? Take care and God bless!

Hi Matt! Nice to meet you!! I loved your tutorials! Amazing! Could you please help me with my case? I have a Sausage character rig, with 2 arms. And I inserted just a vertical spaghetti deformer in it´s body, for it to look flexible. But I can´t find a single way on how to make the arm pegs pivots (aligned with individual shoulders - L / R) follow the curves and deformations of the sausage body. I mean... Everytime I move the vertical body deformer, the arms go both to Japan hahahaah! I tried all kinds of kinetic outputs, and no results =( Could you please help me on how to "stick and glue" the sausage arms to the trunk containing a deformer? PS: The arms also do have Spaghetti deformers =) Thank you very much! Mauro

Hi Matt! Thank you for this quickTip. I was wondering, that I can't select all markers with SHIFT key or CTRL+A shortcut. And also I didn't check that File -> Export -> Markers, instead of that I was trying to press CTRL+C, when I selected markers and it didn't work. I found solution, that I can export markers from Audition, but thank you, now I know how to export them from Premiere. I like your work with formulas in Excel. Also I can say, that probably you don't need to select all the markers with CTRL, because Premiere exports all markers at once in any case.

Great videos (all of them) Matt Watts. Here's my issue. I can't find a solution to it anywhere on the internet. I create the standard arm: upper arm, lower arm, cuff, hand and create a sync arm layer that's a one-piece arm. It all works great except for one thing. The cuff and hand are not going to move with the deformation chain of the synced one-piece arm because that's on the upper arm layer, and the cuff and hand are pegged to the lower arm layer. Since the lower arm layer is nullified by the one-piece arm swap, the cuff and hand stay in place. If you move the one arm peg then they'll of course move just fine. But if you're deforming the one-piece arm they won't react. Is there anyway to switch pegs along with the synced swap? Any thoughts on how that can be achieved? Thanks
