If you want it to look nice, do not glue only velvet to the bottom. The bottom also needs a piece of cardboard aka a cereal box. Also, don't just leave a mess in the drawers from the old liner. All you have to do is put a damp paper towel in the drawer, covering the old, gross cardboard, let it set for 10/15 mins and then scrape it out. I use a sharpened putty knife thing and the old, wet cardboard comes right out. Scrape it a little more and remove as much old glue as you can. Then get a damp cloth and wipe each drawer out. Let them dry good and bam, you have a nice clean drawer. Even after it's clean tho, plz do not skip using cardboard at the bottom of each drawer. Using it at the bottom as well will make your project have that nice finished, polished look. If you're going to do all of this, you might as well do it correctly. Also, it's much better to use the velvet that has the sticky side already. Then you don't have to even worry about the glue seeping through your velvet. Good luck everyone. Watch plenty of videos and take little tips and tricks from each one. Don't base your whole project off of one video. Like this video where she could've done a lot better on this piece. 😳🫣😁🥰

Next time use rubber cement I used to construct handbags and make desk accessories and it will work and last longer than the mod podge. Loved the video though very ingenious to use the hair rollers!!!

This is kind of a let down video because it's not redone in the way it was originally shaped and I wanted to see how the sectioned off areas were made and instead it was relined for ring use only.

If you use the biggest paintbrush the piece will allow, that will minimize your brush strokes. So will using the thinning medium. Also wear gloves when painting the glass so the oils on your hands won’t transfer to the glass. Oils will prevent the paint from sticking to the glass.

How strong is the paint? Can you wash the objects without the paint washing off or do you need a sealer after painting?

The paint is fully removable until baked at 350° for 40 mins. Afterwards it is dishwasher safe.

Thanks, I believe you saved the day LOL..........and, I seen one of your other video's where you were diagnosed with "a dis-ease" I get that term from a book that was actually sent to me free after a Reading over the phone in the late 90's (LOL) the book is called..The Power is Within You, by Louise L. Hay........I absolutely Loved this book. And my take on the term is pronouncing the word I'm obviously avoiding in this way, is like not claiming the whole thing, or giving it a purpose?? I cant explain it like she does. I hope you are well..........and I wanted to say, your a very Beautiful Girl......my oldest daughter is 37 so don't think I'm a freak LOL.......hope you make some more video's.

Yes 🙌🏼 I love that book! And I love Louise L. Hay ♥️ My whole health situation has changed. About 3 months ago I had an epiphany! 🙏🏼 I guess I should do a video on that. I just didn’t think anyone cared or was watching lol 🤷🏼‍♀️ I’m glad you liked the jewelry box video too. It was fun to do 😁

This video was an awesome find! Your work looks amazing! Now you have a set of dishes that nobody else in the world has or can find. And your table, as it spread towards the end of the video, is positively exquisite. Thanks for sharing. I'm going to change the color of a clear glass hanging swag lamp from the 70s. I loved your emerald candle holders sans the brush strokes and dark spots. Thumbs up and thanks again!
