Series 1 Lambretta SST265.
A quick trip to work to grab some files (essential worker) while Auckland, NZ is in Level 3 Covid19 lockdown. Terrible quality from the action cam.

it's like a brand new Lambretta engine made in China but rebadge with Russia nama....just like BMW engine with CJ750 engine both are similar

Think you need a Clean table for all those parts ...show em some respect .
Does it not work sometimes? like if the 2 prongs getting wet due to the fuel causing it to not zap.
It will stop working if the inside of the chamber is wet. The spark can short circuit along the inside of the chamber if wet. Make sure you are using a 'engine start' ether based fuel. It will only need four short bursts of fuel.

HI has this turned out to be a reliable engine?
It’s been a great engine. I’ve only swapped the topend for a SST, touring chamber and a smaller carb. With that it’s (only) 40hp.
@@fast135 HI fast thanks for the reply. Is the SST a more practical set up and possibly a little safer if that is possible? I have heard the odd negative on these, but I guess that no set up is perfect? What did you beef your brakes and suspension with?

@@bertiedoonerwind8061 Ive gone with a MMW master cylinder up top and Dirty Sanchez hub setup that takes the PX caliper. Its an amazing brake setup. Heaps of feel. For suspension, I've gone with BGM adjustable, front and rear. For the frame, I just welded a gusset from the engine mount tube to the frame. The SSR was a bit peaky. Most of the power is up the top of the rev range. The SST is actually faster in the real world. More torque down low and easier to take off from a standing start.
@@fast135 Hey Fast, thanks for the info, much appreciated. I guess another option is the Targa Twin, but I have heard varied reports on build quality etc,etc. Is that gusset there for the shocks or to stiffen up the frame?
