Rhodes Mark 1 Stage Piano - Self Repair
In the spring of 2023, I got a broken Rhodes.
It looked to be in good condition, but it was badly rusted and didn't make any sound.
It looked like it hadn't been played at all for over 20 years.
I prioritized electrical repairs, replacing parts and cleaning it.
This video is a compilation of photos documenting the repair work.

To my ears, there's no real comparison. The Mellotron V has fuller, more detailed sounds in pretty much every category. Thanks for the side by side!

The parameters for both plugins are the same. The difference in pronunciation is due to the differences in the samples included with each product.
