Watch this 4mins course to save 40years of your social life
In this video, I'll show you how he does it and how you can do it too. To make this video, I’ve watched 50 UA-cam videos, read 30 articles on social skills, and 2 books. I’m a big believer in consuming a ton of information, writing it down, and then connecting the dots to reach a conclusion. After writing around 50 pages, I discovered the most common trait that my friend and most social butterflies possess.

You're not wntirely wrong, but you're greatly oversimplifying. I know from expereince you can be authentic and genuine and still make someone feel uncomfortable. And active listening is a skill you have to learn, as simply listening may not work. You have to let rhem know you're listening. And knowing what to say to get them opening up isnt the easiest, either. I genuinely doubt people who actually eant to talk with others are being inauthentic or non-genuine.
He meant that by having genuine interest in a person, you'll actively listen to them unconsciously and you'll actually ask questions to show that you're listening and interested, because you're genuinely interested. And yes, you can make a person uncomfortable by being genuine but that greatly depends on how judgemental the person in front of you can be, and also depends on your personality as a whole.
I dont like Sigmund Freud, but the video was good, keep going 👍!
My introverted ass got called out as a social butterfly 💀
Recently started college, a month here so far, was a total socially inert guy in high school, wanted to change it and since college is in another state, decided to start afresh with myself. Joined the gym, interacted with people as much as I can within my personal boundaries and voila, I am feeling great!
Good video😊
Thanks for this. I believe a genuine interest in being alive is a big part of the comfortability with being genuine in all situations as well. Really appreciate this video!
Ok but what if I'm not interested but I still want to build connections somehow
same i hate people but i want connections
@@3than0lvideos22 Not all people
Like co-worker connections?
you have to find what interests you in them, I used to be like you're describing but I found out you can learn a LOT from listening to people and asking questions, maybe I over-do it sometimes but I found that people end up loving to be with me, and the feeling of being genuine means that you get to choose the topics and who you're sharing that with, the world is an amazing place, you just need to realize that :)
Man, this is one of my favorites UA-cam channels by far!
thank you so much:)
I am a big believer of running straight to conclusions
You mean teleporting to conclusions?
Write about something that happened that day write about something good that happened write about something bad that happened zoom out and think about something bigger
Not expected that much This video is amazing👍
I saw that yall uploaded a new video a couple days ago, what happened to it?

what a great video
How you going to do CAL Newport dirty like that?
1. Write down your goals (at least 10 goals for the year) 2. Keep just the top 5 goals 3. Plan your day the night before to have tasks that lead to your goals 4. Stare to a wall for 5-10 minutes when unmotivated instead of mindlessly scrolling 5. Read a book to exercise your mind, boost focus, critical thinking and problem solving skills If you need a UA-cam Video Editor, contact me

Read this if you just finished watching, or came back in the future to revisit this. // stuff after these double slashes indicate my comments. 1. Develop a routine. Stick to regular sleep schedule. It keeps your circadian rhythm in tune with the day/night cycle. 1. Develop a solid nighttime routine 2. Develop a good morning routine 2. Disconnect. Try to limit artificial light before you sleep. No devices an hour before bed, and try to dim the light before you sleep. 3. Cool sleep environment. Warm bath before bed also helps. 4. Don't use alcohol. No caffeine atleast 6 hours before bed. 5. Exercise helps, but don't do it close to your bedtime. Try to include it in your morning routines. 6. Light exercises like stretching, yoga, walks can help you unwind before bed. 7. Deep breathing, meditation can help you calm your mind. 8. Carbs can help you sleep better. Carbs like rice is better. Magnesium is good as well. (eat a banana for the Magnesium). Milk before bed is good as well. Overeating can mess up your sleep. (before bed) 9. Sounds as low as 30dB can mess with your rest. But, white noise or rain sounds may be helpful for sleep. // Let's use an example, I'm taking the example of a person going to sleep at 12 1. you start to wind down by 11pm. No devices, and dim the light. You take a warm bath, read etc. You can also try meditation, light yoga, and journaling. 2. You go to bed at 12, wake up at 8am, And start with your morning routine. You may opt for intense exercise, going for a walk etc. 3. You maintain your routines consistently, even for weekends. // Personally, the best morning routine is the one which gets you out of your bed the fastest, and straight to your work. After you're done with a couple hours of work, you may proceed to do other things as well. Do get your exposure to sun as soon as possible though. spoonfedstudy has a video about this, you may check it out if you want to. These little things can amount to a lot, if you take care of all of them.
It'll gonna help me, thank you :))
amazing channel keep it up I honestly belive you will grow and I am here to watch. just for the memory I subscribed when this channel had (10.6 k) lets see what will it be in a couple of years.
my line is "they told me i could do anything so i decided to do everything and since then its just a scheduling issue."
it seems like it's a good time to learn time management. make your time management skill greater than all of your other skills. food 4 thought.
By the thumbnail I thought this was a funny programing video, thank god I think that way LOL
Would like a more elaborate guide too!
unlock your success mechanism? the fuck are you on about
This content farm youtube channel is boring. Stupid AI script, dumb voiceover.
its not an AI script.
right now i have a lot of interests, and want to have more lol. But currently I've been so overwhelmed because of work and house chores that I just can't do anything, now I know I have burnout and will try your tips to get better :)
Great video!
You should know yourself first, though. Setting goals is not for everyone. Remember that what counts is the present, never let yourself be stopped by the stress of meeting a deadline, or the guilt of missing one. Don’t spend a single night planning the perfect time schedule, build it as you go according to your enjoyment, leverage that experience, you need to know yourself and your interest better before making a proper plan or you’ll burn out. Especially if you’re someone who isn’t too organized and are watching this because they want to be. Concentrate on simply showing up at first, and let the momentum of the small victories build up and then the goals will start setting themselves as your own wish to improve starts shining through by its own. This is how I’ve been slowly building a habit of exercising. I started just going to my room one day and doing pushups until my arms hurt and then I stopped, took 5 minutes. As I kept randomly doing that I started getting interested naturally and the feeling of wanting to push myself further emerged.
this is what i need, time to skip my schedule today
@@RezaArdhiansyahDid...you miss the point? 😅
Wait this is a thing? I actually just found out about this haha
I love the visuals of your videos. I got hooked by the title. But I find your thumbnails are not quiet interesting because the text are too many, and the element of the icons don't represent the video. I think you should change your thumbnail into...-I don't know, I think you can figure it out-but you get my point right? You have so much potential to gain many viewers. Subscribed!
Hold up, how is this channel not HUGE? I Ugh, this channel is SO slept on. It's like a hidden gem in a basement full of dust bunnies. Yo, before you jet off to be a mega-star, remember little ol' me! I was basically your hype man back when you were filming videos in your basement with a potato for a camera. #OGSubscriberLife.
sure, your name?
