The original mod is the "Alpus 260S". Engine by me: Engine swapped for a 3317cc V6 producing 590hp. The twinturbo with 1.9bar boost each brings it up to 2500bhp with 2164Nm peak torque. Sound is from the Kunos Moby Dick. Weight: 8900kg empty, 1000L fuel Music: An unnamed song I made. This video is obviously a shitpost but the mod turned out quite nice.

8:12 the clouds texture must be tileable or doesnt matter ? I dont use blender and i have to search for a texture. I am using 3ds max.
Doesn't have to be tileable since the displacement value is so low, that you shouldn't be able to tell where the transition between the texture is.

No luck here!!!!! When I recreate exactly your tutorial, my GUIDs.txt lines export as: (event:/birds) instead of: (event:/halifax_gp/birds1). Even if I edit the txt files to match yours, still wont work. Again if I use other tracks SFX file, I am able to listen to the sounds in my track. I just cant figure out how did you made it work.

Hi awesome tutorial, but I can´t seem to get my sounds to work in game. I'm able to copy sounds from other tracks but my Fmod sounds wont play in game. Is there any other plugin I need to have installed apart from Fmod 1.08.12? Thanks :)
Wait, no sounds in general work? On no track? If so, then it's a bug within Assetto on your end and has nothing to do with the soundbanks.
@@IBassGaming All native and moded sound works great in my game. What doesn't work in game, are the audio files I create using this tutorial! Could it be related to the source of the wav files?? in that case can you tell me where did you get your birds sound so I can test? Thanks for quick reply:)

Soooo interresting. I've been using an external shader (SSDO, Gloom AO or MXAO) for getting the same results. Didn't know there was a way to include them directly with CSP. Happy owner of a Radeon so i can't do anything about it, but good to know
I just got RTB and was wondering where you learned the intricate details of using RTB to make a circuit? Is there certain resources you used for tutorials besides youtube?
It's a mix of assettocorsamods forum, our discord, looking through documentations, a lot of fucking around and finding out and asking track creators whenever I see something specific which I can't find a tutorial for online. And sometimes stuff just turns out to be plain impossible, after which I ask Ilja to implement features ^^

I already tried everything for 8 hours but i can not manage to hear my sounds from my .bank. i was thinking , rather than using a bumpy track, would it not be more efficient to randomly affect in the suspension in code is Unity? Re the track, seems very high res, what is the total tri count for the scene?

How do you manipulate the ball with movement lmaoo can’t figure it out
The ball moves in the direction of your crosshair and towards the closes enemy to your crosshair. So aim next to an opponent while deflecting and the ba will curve towards them. Stand at the edge and deflect downwards and the ball will fly towards the opponent outside of the map, etc...

You need reverb nodes which are just spheres you place around your track. Then you can adjust the reverb through the audio_sources.ini. You can check out my track and go through the files to check out how I did it.

@@patts_garage Blender. Import your RTB track into blender to have a reference. Add some spheres where you want reverb. Export the spheres as fbx, convert to kn5. Then do your audio_sources.ini. You can find tutorials online. Edit: Also make sure they have some texture. KsEditor can't export stuff without textures. Which texture doesn't matter as you set visible to false anyways so use a small random texture.

Thanks for all the explaination in a neat and consise manner. That text tutorial is good but still not for dummies. Please do more of these on other features that are needed to make a track complete. (including but not limited to vegetation, lights, animated elements etc). Also include how to add rubberized tire marks etc.
You can add vegetation (GrassFX) and lights (LightsFX) through CSP. The documentation on github and the lightmaker app make this process stupidly simple. You can add rubbarized tire marks by driving on the track and enabling persistent tire marks in CM. The tire marks are then saved inside a file as a texture which you can then use as an asset/overlay over the track. I might make a tutorial on it at some point but it'll probably take a while until I have time so I'd advice you looking those things up yourself. It's waaaay easier than texture work. Can you do a tutorial on how to fix intersecting tracks. I'm recreating local tracks drift areas & theres lots of intersecting loops.
Everything worked for me, except that the asphalt now has such strong sun reflections that I can barely see the track. The tarmac basically went from dark grey to very light grey now. Any idea how I can chane this?
You can change how mmaterials interact with the light through kseditor. I think the relevant ones here are ksAmbient and ksSpecular or whatever it was called. I'm writing from memory ^^
@@IBassGaming I tried that and while its sometimes good for clear weather, the track is too dark for overcast, or when its good for overcast its way too bright for clear weather
Thank you for the awesome video! At around 11 minutes you seem to suggest that I can export an FBX file from Blender into RTB. Is this possible? Or from kseditor to RTB?
Create a new xpack with the fbx file, then use it as you'd use any other xpack in RTB.

Hi there, do you know any Blender method to create the fastlane (or ai splines) for a track, better than drive the track and save the file with AI app? I heard about some kind of process but I can't find any info. Thank you for the tutorial, really valuable information here.
You can create the spline in blender but I have never done it this way. So no, I make my sidelines and fastlane inside of the game by driving through the ai helper app on racedepartment. In other words, can't help ya mate. You can join the linked discord (description) and ask there.

I built everything in Race Track Builder. Blender was only used to add some assets and the physical road mesh.
