Yes, we were wacky enough to do an acapella spoof of the famous orchestral song "O Fortuna" from the ballet Carmina Burana. It follows into a truly old-school, and quite corny Octet number from the 1940's.

Not laughing would have ruined the live performance which is clearly intended to be both humorous and a vocal tour de force. It was not created for youtube (which didn't even exist at the time I was in the audience! 2000 - 2003). Telling an audience member that reacting to a live performance ruined it? Perhaps to the viewer who watches 20 years later but the performers loved the response.
