Such a soothing theme, puts modern day electronic music to shame. 80s music can make even the most boring bad stuff memorable thanks to this.

Very good soundtrack. Thought it was an instrumental for a pop song that was for the film. Standout for the movie. Film was surprisingly really good too.

I really enjoyed this sequel. Anthony Perkins directed it himself & he claimed he was a little 'unsure' of himself. I thought he did very well! I also was impressed with the fact that he TRIED to stand up to the film-studio here about the level of violence/gore. He tried to tone it down, as he claimed that while Norman was violent, the films up until then had not shown overt & graphic onscreen violence.....but sadly, he lost the fight. He did not like the gore-level of the phone booth scene or the bathroom/toilet scenes & I agree. As a director, he focused on story, not just violence....he did the best he could, he really showcased the emotional sides of the characters. I wish he had directed more films. RIP Mr. Perkins.

Psycho 2 had a very sad and haunting theme. This one, although not bad on it's own right, is instantly outdated and stuck in the 80s synchwave genre.

Just finished rewatching it and it’s perfect. This soundtrack perfectly encapsulates that deserted, desolated feelings the movie permeates under its gothic, humorously dark façade. It’s heartbreaking and the soundtrack does wonders to show this, ultimately Norman at this stage was also like that dry Californian landscape: surrounded by absolute nothingness except delusional beliefs.

I just re-watched this one after not seeing it since I was about 9 or 10 years old. Anthony Perkins plays Norman perfectly. Bates is probably the most tragic/sympathetic slashers in movie history. Just the way Perkins plays off Norman’s quirks and mannerisms is really well done here and in the other films.

I always liked that synth rendition of the theme 1:50 ~
