I have the same Alpha T on my '18. Obnoxiously fuckin loud, especially in a chill, high end neighborhood. Put the db killer in it, you only lose about 2hp and it helps a lot, especially down low.

For me, the Suzuki is a better all rounder whereas the Yamaha is definitely more aggressive.

Yes, I’m not that stupid 😂. My best guess is lack of maintenance and oil changes by the previous owner. When it bought it the dealer did a fresh oil change.

Supposedly these bikes come to the market lean, in order to pass emissions. Once you remove the cat she becomes even more lean, some blow the engine due to that, others due to lack of lubrification. If you have an exhaust on these bikes you really need to tune it in order for them to run flawlessly
