    Omg 😳 that’s an absolute steal for $200 hundred bucks WOW it’s worth more than that in the weight of it but don’t do that because you can make thousands off of it if you get it running and driving this guy is not all there to let it go for practically nothing jeeeezzzz I would actually get it driving and keep it I currently have two Camaro’s now that iv put 10’s of thousands into they are nearly mint condition and bad ass 👍

    What belt did you end up with? On my '92 4.9L with A/C the standard 98" belt is now too short. Understandable given the alternator pulley is in a different position now with the 130amp alternator. The belt you showed in the video (6K1005) had a note that it was too long. That belt from Napa has an effective length of 100.54 inches. I cannot find anything between 98-100 inches. So... What belt did you end up using??? You didn't note that.

    I have the same Jeep except mine is a 1995 I think they are cool jeeps simple to work on I replaced my front roaders and the rubber brake lines I also changed all the Fluids in all def ,Tran and TF case never know if someone drove it is A lake lol I'm thinking about camouflaging mine I'm starting to like my square lights I had a dodge 4x4 that i painted camo and what's nice about it is it covers a lot of body issues and you can touch it up easy Just my thoughts have fun with it

      @@chrisurfer83 if I remember right, there was a good bit of drilling, most of which was for the top piece. I used self tappers for that. The bottom brackets made use of the existing bolt holes but there were some modifications made there as well. And some supporting self tappers.

    I bought the sane steering wheel for my maverick. Those original ford steering wheels are worth a pretty penny . There are companies out there that restore them too.

    i know this video is 2 years old but for anyone who sees this now and has to feed gas through the carb just get a water bottle a plastic one and put a hole in the cap and let someone keep feeding it while your cranking it and when its running but be careful cause it could catch on fire

    i use to have a 1987 rs and i bet i got pulled over 5 times for leaving the liscense plate flipped down because the gas tank fillup was behind it

    94 had it 1 1/2yr trans blew valves leaking junked it but too big a car nowadays

    I had a rust color 77, 2 wheel drive, loved the 8 foot bed you could actually reach over the side and grab something, wish I still had it, think I got it for 1K, I think a mint refurbed one goes for 50K

      Yea my dad has a 2016 f150 and we keep a step-on tool box handy so we can reach over the bed. That’s one thing that’s better about the older trucks, the beds are more accessible.

    Did yours make any niise before replacing the motor? Or just stop working with no noise? My is a little down like when the doors open but doesnt make any noise or anything. Hopefully its the motor and not the regulator

    Old corvettes frame rust! Been there done that and restored the frame. You do it for the love of the car not money. Frame rust is not a problem up to a certain point.

    Save the squares! Finally someone posting a YJ. Im going thru the same thing with a 92 islander. Swapped out the gears added ARB air lockers front and rear, 4.5” lift, upgraded to crome moly 30spline axles, NV4500 5 speed, Atlas II, and working on dropping 4.0 stroked out to 4.7L. Old jeeps are so worth the effort to restore. Keep it going!

    Check the motor mounts , if there bad it will flex the engine

      They may have swapped the factory ones with a higher sitting mount.

    Looks like it might have 1 inch engine mount lift on it. A lot of people do that when they raise them up.
