The Battle Box | the thing that holds all my stuff
This is my foot locker that I keep my most frequently used kit. It's kept in a constant state of readiness. The theory is I can load this into the back of my truck along with my ruck sack and be self sufficient for several days, ready for a variety of situations.

Nice video. I have a Craftsman rolling bin that I got at Lowe’s for $50. It’s a bit bigger, and not as solid as Pelican, but it does the job.
I have been thinking about building one of these out myself . I'm thinking about using a Rigid Rolling toolbox os something similar.
Been meaning to make a battle box or footlocker video for a while. People love boxes of shit, this should get some clicks. I think that's a Plano, or something similar. I have never seen a Pelican with a tray like that, but I love having the top tray or some lid organization. Cramp-ons are wild, ive never had to use that shit! Get some footage of the challenge! And cool axe, you nerd!
If you have that parka, you probably see serious winter. Then the fur hood ruff for the gore Ted jacket is worth buying. Low 20s and below ma!e that pay off. I bet that parka is too heavy to wear on the move.
lololol larper eh?
as if you're better, he's out there doing it. Don't need a fancy US govt title to know you can kill xD
That looks like a good kit. I look forward to seeing you at Night Fighter. Good luck!
@@MichaelTravis12c27 see you there!
Definitely post a follow up on the makeshift camo tape effectiveness. Curious if to see if something simple like that actually works.
Keep with it. Using your kit and finding out what works instead of just marketing and selling garbage is what YT needs more of. Also we need to know the distance and ruck times bro 😂
@@ahole5407 ruck was 9 miles and I don’t have a time. I hung back with another person most of the time and helped them along.
Firefighters just love their gloves... soft hands 😂 nice kit brother. I'll take a look at your content and give you a sub 👍
@@ahole5407 lol I have so many gloves at work
Be interested to see how that large alice fits on top of the lbe, wish a quick side shot of wearing it was included
@@shanescott8410 great comment. I have modified the LBE with drop extenders to accommodate the pack. I’ll do a video on that and tag you
@ Awesome, thank you
Good to see a well thought out winter loadout. I have the same battle box.
Some good stuff in here, honestly the white tape is a pretty smart move. I would add a little more and it's a pretty solid option to turn a regular kit into a winter kit
Good stuff, new sub here. Fire Maple is great stuff. What dobyou mean "knock off"?
@@MichiganSilverBack knock off meaning that is the cheaper version of a name brand. Like the fire maple is a clone of the jetboil. The pouches are clones of real Spiritus Systems pouches at a much lower cost.
@PA_LF gotchya. I didnt know who they were "cloned" from. I really like them. Good stuff, better than pathfinder, not too expensive.
@ yea this is a clone of the spiritus 34A chest rig converted to an LBE with their butt pack at a fraction of the cost. So far it’s holding up well.
@PA_LF check out "elite spanker" molle sruff too. I got 3 of their bags, love em for the $$

I made some pegs out an old tomato cage and boiled 10oz of water for coffee with a stereo can once, it works but you need a windbreaker and the pot close to the flame
@@actually_a_circle ah, I figured I needed a windbreak for it to work
It’s basically an alcohol stove. I’ve used a homemade one in the woods, but it’s way more susceptible to wind than an isobutane stove (as mentioned), and owing to the lower btus of alcohol it takes about twice as long to boil water. I now either do without and eat cold, or for cold weather the little BRS stove from Amazon and a fuel canister are light and work fine with a small pot.
@ I was envisioning it as a beefed up emergency candle and fire starter.
@@PA_LF yeah I'd just scrape the sterno out and use it as a "flame extender"
@ that’s the move
Love the take on the snow camo, my buddies do the same. Chopped CVC is based too. What side are you going to wear your NOD on? I wear right.
yep, ill have my pvs14 on my right eye. my dominant. The weather keeps changing from snow to rain for the event but I'm hoping it snows to really see if this snow camo will work.
I like the style of your videos. Easy going with just the necessary info. Thanks
@@billybob6784 thank you sir! No frills, just sharing my stuff.
Greetings from Victoria BC Canada 🇨🇦! I really enjoyed your video, I like your setup! I'd really appreciate it if you can remember the name of the pouch on your left? Front, the one that has the small integral water bottle pouch, and can accommodate 4 extra mags? And it'd be appreciated if you could provide a link? I hope you keep up the amazing work and post more videos! Thanks for your time! Cheers-JHW
Pretty much nailed the 10 C's of Survival in a pocket kit. That'll work. (I'd use Ranger Bands for wrapping the multitool just for convenience.)
@@greyscout01 ahhh dang that’s a good one.
What no p38 can opener
I can get a can open with the multi tool
Not sure what your use case is for this, but almost all of that admin stuff can go in your field top or pants if you got a good pocket set up. For example, I’ve found that having my head lamp on me is really helpful in case I’m away from my kit for some reason. Good video though. I’ve wanted to try a split rig and going the knock off route may be the way instead of dropping the coin on a SS rig.
@@freddyt86 I’ve recently reorganized this rig and I’ve done exactly that. All that admin stuff is now in my field top. Even when I was still in, all that stuff eventually made it to cargo pockets. Now that pouch has my IFAK
I have nearly the same setup. Real $185 LBE expander and fake everything else. It's honestly a crap concept. F Spiritus for peddling this junk. Not even worth the cost for repros. The buttpack itself is actually superb, as are spiritus pouches (genuinely the best!) but the 34A is a very poor host for an LBE. Best setup IMO is the LBE buttpack on a smersh/padded molle belt with a single buckle belt and pouches of your choice. If you have less than a 36 inch waist you are not going to load it up like they show it in pictures, there's no space for nalgenes+Tall GPs. I'm tempted to say just wait for the russian war to be over so cheap SSO PK molle smershes come back for $120-145
Awsome video :) may I ask how many ML is the titanium cup? Thanks in advance I find that to be an amazing idea to pair it up with the nalgene bottle :)
@@badmojo87 750ml Here’s the Amazon link: a.co/d/6wyKIQv This cup is the same one sold by Cana Provisions just without their logo
I have the rig, but how did you manage to get the mutant and the hats pouch in between the large GP pouch and the Nalgene pouch
@@mikethechamp333 treat the molle straps in the back like belt loops and thread the butt pack straps though them.
Just a rip off of our SADF battle jacket
the SADF battle jacket is great, but also a wayyy heavier load than this. I would compare this closer to American LBV/ALICE (it being similar to ALICE for the buttpack) This is also much more customizable and can be a bit more tailor fit to the user's desires :)
Just what i needed thanks man, how well did the seams hold up during the challenge, any issue with the kit at all?
@@Bangaloreproductions not much, no. I have an AAR video up that goes over the kit if you skip towards the end of the video
Can we get a list of the companies that you purchased from your Amazon history. I just wrote an article on Defense Review call Chinesium Paradox reviewing knock products. Take a look
Finally someone reviewing this looks awsome
Tactically acquired just made me cry 😂
Also try to find Savotta pouches. They are 3 columns wide, so you have one last column left. I put there some czech water bottle pouch (0.5 l coke) but it fits also ar15 mag.
I don’t know if anyone want to use rhis idea I use but I buy hook and loop panels and install them on all my pouches after I’ve glued on some magnets inbetween the sandwiching the hook and loop panels. That way I’m not making noise when opening my flap pouches.
@@JuggernautJo magnets 🤯

What weapon mode did you take?
@@taylorfreeman5504 idk what weapon mode is but I shot exclusively with my LPVO, and shot very poorly on 2 of the three stages. Not the optics fault, I just suck at shooting.
@ I have a top dot on my LPVO
@PA_LF ditch the m855 and spend some time printing that S&W with better ammo. 5-6 moa may be acceptable to Uncle Sam but today its easy to see sub MOA with the right equipment. Id suggest a couple log books for DOPE and perhaps a rebarrel with medium recon profile. Match grade 69 or 77 will offer better ballistics and terminal performance than m855 but if you want something spicy and barrier blind than the MK318 mod1 SOST or bonded FBI 62gr soft points may be what you want.
