Change of Heart (Trailer)
This a movie style trailer for a fanfiction I am writing. It picks up at the battle with Azula and Zuko and changes a few things with the ending of season three. It is Zutara, but I think a lot of people will be satisfied with how I plan on making everything.
Time spent on making this video: I played around with a lot of different clips and music, but I finally decided to use the music from the season three trailer. So all in all, it took me about a week. xD
Music: Season 3 Trailer from ATLA
Clips: Sweetangel1927
Link: www.fanfiction.net/s/6139906/1/Change_of_Heart
(NOTE: This is the current, incomplete version of the fanfic, but I am planning on rewriting the whole entire thing :) )
I OWN NOTHING PLEASE DO NOT DELETE!!!
Update, November 9th, 2010: I fixed the sound. xD

I figured it was about time I made a movie with the updated version of WMM so I did, and this is the result. The pictures are screenshots from ATLA and I got them from AvatarSpirit.Net. Disclaimer: I own nothing and this video is just for fun, not for profit. Music: Confluence, from The Memoirs of a Geisha Soundtrack
Dam the netflix adaptation had to turn this into lgbt
Legend of Korra really confused us about the origins of humanity lol. But, it's possible that Oma and Shu were really the first humans to learn (true) earthbending, and might have even been Wan's earthbending teachers. I'd really love to see an Avatar Wan spin-off series to help clarify this stuff.
H
2:14 isn't that the shrine UNCLE IROH visit his son luten? And 2:28 isn't that where AANG AND OZAI FOUGHT?
I dont know why I thought this was Zutara foreshadowing
I thought that too before, but it isn't. Not because the characters in the story came from opposite villages it means it foreshadows zutara. ua-cam.com/video/97e5OrSVvtw/v-deo.html

I definitely felt a Romeo and Juliet vibe from this story.
Wait whaaaa-? Love burns brightness in the dark ???
The whole story : A long time ago when the world was still young, there was a mountain that divided tow villages. One day a man from the eastern village climed the mountain, and when he reached the top, he met a woman from the western village. The villages were enemies so they could not be together. But their love was strong and they found a way. The two lovers learned earthbending from the badger moles. They became the first earthbenders. They built elaborate tunnels so they could meet secretly. Everyone who tried to follow them would be lost forever in the labyrinth. Then one day thr man didnt come. He had died in the war between the two villages. Devastated, the woman unleashed a terrible display of her erathbending power. She could have destroyed them all... but instead she declared the war over. Both villages help her build a city where they could live together in peace. The womans name was Oma and the mans name was Shu. The great city was named Omashu as a monument of their love. In the crave, there is a shrine, where the couple now lies beside one another. And carved into the stone are these words : ,,Love burns brightest in the dark." The End
Ooh. The forbidden love story. Call me a sucker.
Idk but i get the "avatar kyoshi" vabe
Oma...both villages?
Beautiful and heartbreaking at the same time.

This is so nicely done . Thank you for sharing this 👏🏽🙏🏽
🎶 🎵 Two lovers forbidden from one another A war divides their people And a mountain divides them apart Built a path to be together 🎵🎶 SECRET TUNNEL!!!! The Earth Kingdom city of Omashu... Oma + Shu = Omashu
Theoretically, they had the earthbending ability, indirectly, from an earth lion turtle, but they learnt how to develop it.
But even then they wouldn't be "the first earthbenders" right? It would be Wan, no?
@@theo7236 maybe they learned it before wan
Two lovers, forbidden from one another. A war divides their people, and a mountain drives them apart. Build a path to be together. And die... Secret Tunnel! Secret Tunnel! Through the mountain. Secret, secret, secret, secret tunnel! "Yeah!"
Those nomadic singers were great I wish they did full versions of their songs
@Eveline DaVuck It's a song from the episode The Cave of Two Lovers
They did just search the full version and you have to what avatar to get it
It's wrong this is the right one, Two lovers, forbidden from one another the war devides their people and the mountains divides them apart build a part to be together, SECRET TUNNEL SECRET TUNNEL THROUGH THE MOUNTAINS SECRET SECRET SECRET SECRET TUNNELLLL, AND DIEEEE!
"And die!"
I'm not a person who enjoys love stories, but this is a tale I absolutely love. It is so sweet, so simple, and shows a true love between a man and a woman despite the fact it was forbidden. When the man died, the woman, Oma knew she didn't want what had happened to her, to happen to anyone else because of a petty war between their villages. Her love for Shu, that she did not kill anyone on either side, showed just how much love she had for the man. She could've even killed her own family with his should she have let her rage control her. But she didn't. That is something I know I'd have a hard time doing, as I am not one to forgive so easily. Her love, outgrew her hate. In this story, during a very dark moment in her life, her love for Shu burned so bright and loud, that she declared the war over instead of just massacring them all. I have the highest respects for Oma, as she let love have the final say in the end...
The shows never said they were the first earthbenders....they were *one* of the first earth benders
My child hood
Good
FINALLY AFTER YEARS
'Love is brightest, in the dark'
Labyirnth II turning the lights off , all makes sense now.
what is that piercing instrument at 1:35 that picks up. its so beautiful.
"And is dat how it wee-ly happened, gwan ma?"
I LOVE THIS <3
omg the song is from memoirs of a Geisha but it's beautifully used in this!!! KUDOS to the creator.
How could they have been the first earthbenders when the first earthbenders were granted the power by the lionturtle?
Maybe the first ones to use Earthbending as an extension of their senses
from what i remember many were given the gift but they died. their descendants sometimes didn;t know how to use their powers and they learned from badger moles. Like Katara had to learn Water bending by herself since there were no other benders in the southern water tribe.
They were the fist earthbender cause they know "HOW TO" bend earth. Those people who were granted the power of earth by the lionturtle are just people who have that power and dont know how to use it properly. Its just like I have a violin, but i don't know how to play it. So I have to find a teacher to learn "HOW TO" play the violin.
They received the power from the Lionturtle; they received the skill from the badgermoles. It's like the difference between defending yourself with a stick or a spear.
I know this is from a year ago, and you probably don't care, but the answer is : They ret-conned it.
omg I just realized, after many times watching this, that Omashu was carved by earth bending out of the same mountain where the lovers met. Oma literally took what divided the villagers and made it unite them. It is the symbol of their love, but also the physical site of it, representing their romantic love but also their mutual love of peace. without both of these loves, Omashu may have never existed.
@Louanne von Blottnitz oma is the name of the girl and shu is the guy after she create the village he called it OMASHU as the monument of their love
Maybe Oma was the fourth avatar
I thought this would be the cave of love, where Sokka smashed his forehead too much
These illustrations are from that episode actually. And the story is as well.
lo necesitaba en español.
aaaawww something really admirable for sure !! Oma+Shu= Omashu !! pretty original !! one my favs stories in the avatar world !!
childhood man 😭
Her terrible display of earth bending power is what created the jagged rocky scene avatar fights ozai... That's so cool
SECRET TUNNNNELLLL
the benders got bending from the lion turtles, but didn't know how to really properly use it. they LEARNED the techniques and the skills from the badgermoles.
Yeah, just how Wan perfected his firebending after watching the white dragon's moves...
I guess that over time the humans forgot where their bending truly came from and had to relearn the skills
stop making up excuses
Hmmm inconsistency... Thanks for pointing it out
Nothing is inconsistent, really. Learn doesn't always mean that you couldn't use something to begin with in any capacity. Most humans can run before they get trained to run professionally as professional athletes.
this must of happened while wan was traveling with mula and raava before he reached the earth kingdom lion turtle people moved off the lion turtle and build villages up in the mountains and this happened then wan came and got earth bending from the lion turtle making him technically the 3rd earth bender, that's my theory
Yeah. But it can be also just a tale
yeah true, but i actually think it happened
joel marendaz Yeah, that theory does sound sensible... I wonder though, did the Lion Turtles give the Badgermoles bending as well, or was that an ability they already had naturally?
Gustav Ramirez good point actually, but i don't think so its natural, the lion turtles only gave it to humans i think, or the badgermoles could have got it from the spirits
thank you!!
whitels not really,it all makes sense....after the humans left the lion turtles, the turtles decided to took all the bending from the humans... but somehow the humans found that some animals themselves can also teach how to bend
Nono, the lion turtles stop giving bending, its just carried on through generations, parents and grandparents, etc, and the original benders are who taught them how to use these skills
+Wanfi Wanfio It still contradicts the story of Omashu.
Gettin a bit carried away their bub. lol
Wow, that was a gorgeous tune. Maybe I should watch that movie. This might also go well if subbed to something from Okami.
i'm sorry but its kinda obvious
Ain't no mountain high enough
pinkdragonliver ain't no mountain low enough.
Diana Ross in Avatar??
So i started watching guilty crown then i remember this because of the protagonist's name
the sound is from memoirs of a geisha
Pretty sure that was the point.
This is a love history, a real love history =(
tru dat
