Awesome footage
Thanks, I'm learning as I go.
Thanks for bringing us on this awesome tour
The ambient sound in these temple videos is very soothing; Peaceful.
@@grokcalvin The phone mic picks up ambient sounds well. Might as well take advantage of it.
Thanks for bringing us on this awesome tour
@@travelatmalaysiawithazmils Glad you liked it!👍
The combination of that amazing cave and the beautiful religious iconography is really quite stunning.
@grokcalvin The ambiance was something else for sure. Very cool place to spend a couple hours.
Beautiful! Nice walk through, those stairs are a good workout on their own!
@grokcalvin Thanks man! Those stairs kept plenty of people at bay. Notice how much busier the entrance was over the cave.
how many diameter thickness were the wooden dowels underneath?
@@donchai761 About 1.5 inches
This is cool man! Keep it going
@@lanwoah Keeping it going is the only option! 🤛👊🤜
Have you considered using rings for push ups? The pump is intoxicating😎
@TreeGrowUpUp Definitely an awesome pump with ring push ups. Just don't do them much as they tweak out my shoulders.
Determination on point!
@18Vctr Yeah Buddy!! It's good times 🤛👊🤜
Never thought it's that high inside, in US models now i see, EU ain't happening. Anyways, well done Rhys.
@nobertstanel9428 Just barely enough room. With trucks in the EU I'd probably have to do pull ups from a sitting position.😆
This is amazing, you’re an inspiration. No excuses!
@vodkastrats Yeah Buddy!
Wow! In your truck? Well…no excuses for anyone now! Awesome and inspirational indeed!
@@shabirvalli8604 I appreciate that... It's honestly kinda fun!
Hey brother, just wanted to say I try to keep up with your videos. I'm learning calisthenics myself and I admire that your pursuing calisthenics despite being in a unique setting (in a truck). Never mind that you seem to be ultra passionate about sharing this with the world. I'm rooting for you and hoping that you find whatever it is you're looking for through this pursuit and this channel. One day I hope you have the same energy and vigor about my passions as you do. Cheers, TYFS
@thank.youforstopping Thanks my man! I appreciate that. Probably one of the best things about Calisthenics is how adaptable it can be for any time any place workouts.
great channel and very good routines, I subscribe, keep it up
@BlackingStrong717 Appreciate that!! Plenty more ahead for sure 🤛👊🤜
Keep it up 🔥🔥🔥
@xpertvont Yeah Buddy!! 🤛👊🤜
What do you do to eat healthy OTR, do you cook on the truck, or buy food on the truck stops ?; keep going man, this channel will be big in the future, you are contributing in solving a big problem we have in the trucking industry which is drivers staying fit and healthy, I think more and more people will realize that truck driving is one of the best jobs out there know, not just for the money but also for the freedom and peace we have and all that time alone to reflect and learn about ourselves and so many other things, that’s why I love this job 👌
@julioexposito1217 Very cool man! Thanks for that. Plenty of ups and downs with this long haul life. But far more ups than downs if you're good at it for sure. For eating on the road... I pretty much never pass up a walmart I can get a truck into. Ready made rice, tuna, hard-boiled eggs, protein shakes and bars, fruits & veggies. All done in a way to keep a good macronutrient ratio.
I love it man 👌, this video is exactly all I needed, I worked OTR for 5 years, I used to stay for 3 or 4 months straight too and loved it because I’m a minimalist monk as well 😁, know I’ve being working local for 2 years in the west Texas oil field but I’ve always hated it, I’m going back to OTR because that’s what I like, I’ve being looking online ways to stay in shape on the road, that bar with the rings is a tremendous idea, I’ll copy it, I’ll also buy a pair of iron master adjustable dumbbells, a power block travel bench that fits well on the truck bed and a Fitarc pull up handle to do different pull ups, you can recommend resistance bands to help doing the pull ups because it’s not very easy for most people; you are in an excellent shape, thank you for the video 👍
@julioexposito1217 Right On!! Glad you found the video useful. Those Ironmaster Dumbells are Legit!! Bands are decent for training pull-ups. Hanging, bodyweight rows, & learning how to strengthen scapula movement is the foundation for pull ups. Things I'll be showing more in my videos soon.
Come hang out at my beach for a while before you get back on rhe road!
Was already planning on it!
"Why would you have a beach with no pull-up bars!?" lol...too funny.
It just wasn’t right!
Thank you for sharing. I agree that if we look for the easy way to do things it will make things harder in the long run. I also heard that we pick our hard. It’s hard to workout and it’s also hard to be sick. 😊
Right on Julie Most people find working out hard because they always try to take on too much too soon. Start small & focus on staying consistent. Keep building from there bit by bit.
hanging "out" ?
You've got some based ideas when it comes to nutrition and exercise. Im a massage therapist in Canada. Worked with Cirque whenever they came through town between 2009-2013. So I worked with a lot of the morocan beach acrobats. And aerialists during that time. I started training with silks in 2012 & gymnastics rings starting in 2020. Can appreciate the value of putting in the work. Have a 30 year yoga practice as well. Trained at the old medicine hospital in Chaing Mai Thailand 2001. As someone who constantly gets pegged for appearing to be 37-42. While being 52. I can assure you that some of us are planning on enjoying an active lifestyle much like the old hockey player in his 90s , that you mentioned in one of your videos. Be sure to take a Thai cooking class while you're there. When you get back home it makes the picture showing more palatable for family and friends 😅
Thanks man. I was trained to be a flying trapeze catcher from a former Cirque acrobat. Learned a whole new level of strength & performance. I did a little silks back in the day. Extremely tough discipline for a large male with only average flexibility. That hockey player was something else. Training in your 40s or 50s is certainly not the same as your 20s or 30s. But it’s far from over…that’s for sure. I’ll keep those Thai cooking classes in mind while I’m here. Sounds like a great idea. Appreciate you watching & sharing some of your experience…very cool.
Hello judson, I 'm Riyad and I have been working as a UA-cam Seo and growth specialist for the last three years . I was analyzing your UA-cam channel and I feel maybe you are quite worried about the growth of your UA-cam channel. Because the quality of your content is so good but your channel views and subscribers are not increasing accordingly. According to your content you deserve much more views and subscribers .If you want I will help you to solve those problems in your channel and also help you to get your potential subscribers and views from your targeted location . I hadn't any contact info about you that's why i inform you here . So, if you want then we can arrange a (zoom meeting/Video calling session) where I can explain to you how I can fix your channel problems and my working strategies. Thanks Riyad
hey- Yo! nice ~Rhys, 🙂
Hey-Yo! What's up man 👍👍
Hi I'm 25 year old, beginner, interested in mobility, saw your joint mobility video can you suggest any programs/ UA-cam videos you use?Any suggestions in general? Thank you.
Practice and apply what you learn from videos. Keep trying stuff out the best you can. GMB Fitness has some very good videos for mobility & strength. The biggest thing is learning how to train both strength & mobility. That's what keeps you going for the long haul.
That's excellent! This exercise feels very doable for someone who sits for their job. I'm going to try doing this every morning, thank you!
Right on man!
I did the same basic thing in my freightliner Cascadia. It also makes a great place to hang your clothes sometimes.
Gotta make it work my man
ua-cam.com/video/BiHT1mZE_S8/v-deo.htmlsi=w9GRmJWeFZ87cdlj
Pretty cool, nice and simple! Thanks for sharing. My favorite exercise tool on the road is the good ol' kettlebell. I have a couple in my passenger side box, which doubles as trucking and fitness supplies. Also an indoor yoga mat, and an outdoor one. Otherwise I just have a handful of mini bands for hip exercises, which work really well.
Thats it, make it work and keep it old school. As long as I can do my pull ups and basic ring work with some old man stretching I'm good. Lol
