There are still parts of Renton where it could be uncomfortable for a POC to hangout, like the highlands closer to Issaquah.

Its a pretty good hike for black people i do agree!!! For white people though, it will probably be too difficult, they are not as athletic as black people. For Hispanic people, i would be scared to go here....a mexican guy got stabbed at this trailhead a couple years ago, and since then, several mexican people have reported being stalked in the area Last but not least....asian people.....i would recommend this place, but as with anywhere you go hiking in America, because most Americans hate asian people, i would be wary, and as always, bring your samurai sword for defense.

Hi, Centralia and Chelis wa was not founded by a black man but it's groth was due to a former slave. Great history and 2 long for comments section. I forgot his name and his statue stands in downtown. Check it out. Any questions contact me. Cool Breeze.

Hey thanks for watching! I don’t think we ever mentioned that Chelis was founded by a Black man. But Tumwater and Centraila were both founded by Black men (ironically both who share the name with a former US Presidents: George Washington and George Bush). We actually have episodes on our channel about both places. Be sure to check them out.

I enjoyed your video. Being from Montana myself but having left many years ago, this showed me several things I never knew. I wish you could gave seen the zoo in Billings or went to the amazing Scheel’s Hardware where my brother runs the 65’ indoor Ferris wheel. Of course my FAVORITE part if Montana lies in Glacier Park. Yellowstone is great but Glacier is AWESOME! You need to return for the summer also when harvesting us in full swing or in winter when the snow sends you skiing at Big Sky or Kings Hill.

Hoping, desperately, that Spokane will become more diverse and that more people who are Black (and people from other diverse racial, ethnic, and religious backgrounds) will come to visit and move/live here! Thankfully, our diversity has i creased, but we have a long way to go! ❤
