Elite has been my favorite space sim for a while now, and I'm happy to offer my journey through Odyssey since the DLC released in May 2021. I share an affinity for the 1:1 scale reproduction of our Milky Way galaxy, populated with fascinating human and alien lore.
Subscribers can expect a deep appreciation for good space games, as my videos work to break down any dividing walls between communities who love playing them.

Grab a ship with good shields, some missile racks, and a wing of Commanders to earn the best merits per hour the funnest way: enemy power Stronghold Carrier sabotage. Attack the carrier Power Capacitors (120 merits each, increased from 30) to spawn droves of fighters, each worth 56 merits (decreased from 72), which is on average more than any bigger ship. Ascendancy dropped with Powerplay 2.0 and the new Mandalay ship. The goal now is to earn merits, but what's the funnest way? The meta is rare goods trading, you can salvage and do missions, but the real fun is combat merits from killing enemy Commanders and NPCs. Sunless Space is a useful power that'll freeze the enemy and not time. Combined with other powers like Sensei Star Stuff and Gravity Well you can clown the Starborn in every NG Like and subscribe, playing NG 2 on hard difficulty.
