My wife is from New Zealand and she has been living most of her life overseas. If you don't have a family with some kind of wealth like land or houses, it is extremely difficult to live on an island at the far end of the world.

Youth do get done for the crime they do it's called juvenile these things only happen if you put yourself in that situation not all places in nz are like that new pkymouthyou can leave your car unlock and do shopping for hours and nothing will get stolen the fact that this you made it sound like it's a really bad thing here but it's not. Most people from over seas get better jobs than the people that live here and there's some things that are bad in new zealand but most of it is good and not all new Zealanders are like that your gonna get judged every where but here in nz you don't get judged only certain people do this

I feel like it's like this anywhere where European culture is prevalent, NZ is just more pronounced because it's a more concentrated society, cause it's the same way in the US especially when you get into small towns, and it's the same way in the UK and Germany etc. The only places I've seen where people actually really root for you to be Successful is in the Caribbean, Africa, and Asia.
