Getaway Outdoors began in 1991 at the Balcatta location on Wanneroo Road in Perth, Australia. For over 30 years, we have devoted ourselves to serving the community with our expertise in camping, hiking, fishing, boating, kayaking, 4X4, and travel gear. From the beginning, our mission has been to give our customers everything they could possibly need to enjoy better getaways.

We are SUPER excited to announce that we are possibly the first tackle store in WA to hire out helium! You asked… We delivered!
In this video Rob will take you through how to make a 𝐒𝐧𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐝 𝐁𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐧 𝐑𝐢𝐠!. For this rig you will need 100lb-200lb Nylon Coated Wire, 9/0-10/0 Kumho O'Shaughnessy Hooks (or something similar), a good quality Treble Hook around 3/0-5/0, 15-20cm Squid Skirt, 90cm Latex Balloon, 20-30lb Leader (Length depending on wind conditions and bait size) 2/0-3/0 Crane Swivels, Steel Crimps & Crimping Pliers.

Do the dingle dangles get eaten by the fish? How do you retrieve it?
The fish eat the bait around the dingle. If the fish consumes the whole bait with the dingle it will more than likely be attached to your hooks which you would then retrieve in The dingle dangle is attached to hook and will come out when the hook is removed.

hi there from Melbourne, i just bought the Assassin horizon HXL (from Balcatta ) and pair with Penn Authority 6500 with 30lb braid line and 130lb braid leader and its casting with 6oz breakaway sinker with dingle dangle and can cast about 140m. i use a lots of Blue marlin +Assassin Beach-Master overhead rods.But nothing can beat the Assassin Horizon rod .. THANK YOU balcatta for stocking the Horizon and its cheap too.
it would be nice to see everyone's beach setup and what the setup is targeted for, species wise
