I'm actually developing my phd on virology and have some bioinformatics implicated on it (NGS analysis mostly). Im planning on moving to industry afterwards looking for a bioinformatician role. Would you recommend juming immediatly or doing a postdoc in bioinformatics first?

Hello sir. Thanks for the info. I was really struggling to start over. I have bachelor degree in biochemistry and a master degree in biochemistry and molecule biology. But im suffering with ptsd and bipolar disorder and im on medication. Its really hard for me to continue working in wetlab as there is lots of experiment to conducts with such a conditions. I was searching to switch my major to something that is possible for me to do with the kind of health issues i have. Finally, i came to know about bioinformatics. Thank you so much you just made it easy for me. Soon im going to start over my bioinformatics journey the same as you explained. ❤
