Today, I wanna see how bad is the queerbaiting that got all my h0es hating on life. And I uh.. decided to put on my wireless headphone, play the video, leave the room and cook in the kitchen. And ohhhh boiiii...boii, oh boii. The amount of times I had to stop chopping/prepping my meal... And I'm not even watching it! I don't know what's worse; hating on the writers or mad at supercorp for enabling these dialogues?? For acting (which is their job), but still! There's no str8 explanation bruv wtf fr ps: pause. 'That's what friends are four' and Katie's expression at 7:35 ? I just threw my spoon into my bowl. I'm not even half into the video, and I'm already overwhelmed. p.p.s: 20:43 anddd it gets worse 😭I laughed out loud when it transitioned to Clark taking Lois to the fortress. Jesus.

I read somewhere that Supergirl was 'meant' to be queer, but then they decided that Alex should be Gay. So they didn't 'made' Kara queer. This was decided after 1x04, so this explains the 'I want to date her' I'm not quit sure about that, i will check my sources and come back then. It's really sad and bullshit that CW didn't let Supercorp be real, but at least we have the comics.

I've never watched any of the other superhero shows, but damn. Seeing these EXACT parallels is just completely crazy! The CW really copied all of that stuff, and yet they STILL botched it so badly lol HOW did they screw this up so badly? :D It's insane!

This is one impressive compilation. But the most impressive thing is, really, that it is not even covering everything... Not a complaint to you, not at all! But, dangit, the show... just kept writing and giving lines and scenes to these supposed "best friends" that in other arrowverse shows - and even in SG itself - were given to outspoken romantic interests / couples, so very often even the same lines and context. Most of this video was focused around Kara, but I think one could also edit a whole chunk of Lena thirsting after Kara/Supergirl XD Thank you for this collection and comparison, and the effort that went into it is very much appreciated! (I've always headcanon'ed Kara just accidentally friendzone'd herself early on, but watching this compilation and with the reveal speech in there, for the first time to me, it seems so painfully obvious, that she loved Lena (too) and was aware of it, but already spun her web of lies, and with Lilian giving her the "she'd never forgive you" speech, chose consciously to settle for "friends", to have Lena in at least some capacity in her life... ;_; Boi, that makes every "that's what friends do" and other utterance of Kara calling Lena her "friend" after season two so very heartbreaking.)
