Hallways is often misheard instead of always... the echoes are hallways louder.

You should read the screenplays the author made for TV. They have descriptions on angles and stuff like that.

This is cool, but not quite accurate in a number of ways. For one, the corridors are described as being completely featureless. No finished floors. So no wood. Just the same black material on all walls, ceilings and floors. No doors either, at least not where I am in the book (page 150). Just "passageways". The constant hum you hear in the video isn't supposed to be there either, as the place is supposed to be *completely* silent, to the point you could hear a pin drop a mile away. Also it's freezing cold so maybe you should be able to see the character's breath

I was brought to HoL by myhouse.wad. The labyrinth in the bedroom closet is 100% the labyrinth from HoL, giant spiral staircase included

Been wanting to read this for years and finally had the chance to do so this year, since I'd been waiting for the physical copy to be distributed in my country. Don't regret spending a cent on it. Amazing book.

Reading HOL at the moment, it's a whooper for sure.

This literally matches a dream I had where I opened a door in my room to see a dark empty hallway, Then suddenly got exterme dread and heard inchorent screaming of a women sounding voice. I saw other door leading to rooms before I slamed It shut locking It. What worse It felt like something hijacked another dream as the 2nd one acted like "WTF was that???" then I woke up. This was before I even knew HoL beyond It being a weird haunted house story.

Have you seen the series called Channel Zero? It has 4 seasons , each a stand alone. The second season is called No End House and you might like it if you liked this book. Having that said, this video was super creepy and i really loved it! Ive read HoL back in 2020 in lockdown and i still think about it.

This is fantastic! The darkness feels so oppressive despite how mundane the corridor is, and the growl sounds exactly how I imagined it when reading the book. You deserve a lot more views for the time and effort you’ve put into this- really amazing work

To anyone reading this book: Listen to the second album by POE as you do so. It was made by the author's sister to be a companion piece and adds yet another layer to the experience. Also: You *NEED* a physical copy of the book to take the full ride.
