The pick gives awesome drive where it’s needed!! I have tiny hands so I’m going to have to practice holding the pick easily for going back to the finger strike parts. Picks on bass isn’t just for metal. It delivers great drive. You placed it in the song perfectly!

Do you like the overdrive in the B7k or the Vintage Ultra more? I have a B3K but am thinking about selling it for the Vintage... B3K has ALOT of drive and I'm not too fond of saturation on bass

Not sure if you did your own fills or if they're in the original, I need to go listen to the original song again. Either way they were quite excellent. I'm a guitar player and a bass player and I've noticed that the bass tutorials on UA-cam are often have the bar set way lower. But not this video, your playing and tone was wonderful! Thank you for making this, I'll be sharing it with the bass players on my team.

I hate that the cab sims take about a half a second to load when switching presets. If you choose cab sim placement as "After BLEND" it's super noticeable and makes it impossible to switch presets while playing without a massive drop out. If you choose "Before BLEND", the clean signal path remains working, but you can still hear the cab sim loading. I hope they fix that crap...

Thanks for the comprehensive video! I were about to buy HX Stomp, but the phase issues with blending fx loops you mentioned at 1:55 and 7:05 really started to worry me. Do you, or anybody, know if it's possible to in blend an fx loop on HX Stomp (which has only one fx loop) without making the signals cancel each other?
