I'd rather die
Its honor for you why not?
But Lucky You are pumped full of Awsome Drugs and Barbituates that feelings just disappear
Also remember that not all legendary figures become dreadnaughts when they get a lethal hit. Some get rubricon surgery and become a primaris
Titus after getting chopped by that carnifex almost became a dreadnought 😂
Those who know will know. Ignis: Rest, brother. Not enough left of me to save a second time... I would have liked to see the skies of Baal... one... last... time... *Dreadnought Sarcophagus shuts down* Brother Techmarine: Ohhh, Ignis... *sigh*
In. Universe where war is all there is, and fighting in war is the highest glory, I feel this leans more twards the honor side than the cursed side.
It is an isn't amazing how many people don't get that, from the very start with Rogue Trader, 40k is more than "grim-dark," it is campy sci-fi parody inspired by Isaac Asimov's Foundation cranked up to 11. The horror and absurdity of this lore *is the satire*
Yeah it's all glory till the moment you need to scratch your nose but you don't have the limbs for it.
This is heroic and honorable?
believe it when i see it
Soon release
Space Marines live to wage war
Can their librarians heal their wounds? I heard they have healing powers
Sign me up I get to basically be immortal sleep and only awaken to cause chaos ... like my cat 😂
Technically I guess some elite adults can become space marines but take the already miniscule amount that survive from youth and multiply that by say another 95% percent death rate. And if that isn't enough since now rubicon primaris is a thing so yea more casualties.
trained before surgery
My favorite new phenomena is when a game releases a new title after a really long time, and it’s like halfway good enough that people obsess over, I’ve heard more warhammer Garbo from people over the past two weeks than I’ve ever heard period, this is helldivers all over again
It's almost like the game created new fans. What a jack ass
Halfway good enough? Man what amazing masterpieces have you been playing if thats your opinion? :D
What game did you show?
The first space marine multiplayer mode dreadnaught I believe
It is space marine 1
@@gamescope96shiiiish didn't know you could play a dreadnought in Space Marines 1!!
@@davidperte62 It's a dlc gamemode and sadly you can only play the dreadnought in that one gamemode specifically :|
@@Magnificent_Mongolian awww. Tell me you can personalise them though, imagine making a Rylanor-esque Dreadnought (unless there's a model close to Rylanor's in the game, then that would be fire)
Marine recruits are not.. few. Well, not in the sense of how many marines are in the making. They take realtively large number of candidates. A usual chapter has 1 recruiting world, bigger chapters can have multiple ones. The bigger misconception here is at the end. Just because a marine survives the creation process, it doesnt make them full marines. First they become Scouts. These are aspirants, who have 1 implant left. The Black Carapce. This is the implant that connects their nervous system to the power armor. As the name suggests, scouts are used for infiltration and recon missions. (And here is why you know marines take a relatively large number of recruits. Because at any given point they can have well over a 100 scouts.) After they have learned the basics, and has been deemed worthy of it. They get the black carape, thus becoming full marines. After this they are assigned to one of the chapters Fire Support Companies. Here they will learn the use and the warfare heavy weapons and armored units. Once again, if they show promisse and aptitude, they are promoted. Into one of the Assault companies. Here they will learn fast, movement based tactics, hit and run, jump pack tacits and the like. This is also where they will fist start honing their close combat skills. If they are promissing, and are deemed worthy, they are promoted to one of the Battle Companies of the chapter. Here, they will become Tactical Marines. A Tactical Marine is the apex of the Astartes, they are well versed in all kinds of warfare, can handle any and all equipement and can be deployed in any situation. After this, there is only 1 thing higher than them. The 1st Company Veterans. They are the elite of the elite. They very best a chapter has to offer. Here you find the Sternguards, Vanguards. And only here you will find the Terminators of a company. That is because the use of the Tactical Dreadnaught armor, commonly known as Terminator Armor, requires special training only given to the best. Hope you enjoyed this little writing about Marine lore.
You forgot the Gene Seeds
i mean no but ok....not bad attempt
It is all almost correct, they do get taken when little, but not only from world at war, (although basically all the galaxy is at war). Their training begin the moment they get taken, and go trough surgery while in training, then, once become space marine they get tested, for example by beating a high level xeno for certain chapter or a chaos enemy for others, some endure really strange and non necessary trial, like exorcist, blood angel or grey kninght. Other like the space wolfes (?) Get thrown into the warp to prove they are uncorruptable. And primaris get 22 organ instead of 19 like the firstborn
This made me laugh.😂 what a waste.
