I hate the 5 theme. Its forcing his original theme too hard with the different electronic instruments. Its not a good remix. His sf6 theme is the shit. Finally not just a remix and really fits his scary strong boss character villain vibe.

you need more MU knowledge most of your loss vs gief is pressing button that got more start up frame that u can't whiff punish the gief. 1. lab some optimized combo or dr cancel ones 4:17 8:04 you can get K.O with easy non optimized dr cancel combo,not finishing him is like playing with food,there are tons of cases ppl comeback with 10hp left. 2.Learn some meaty you got wake up jabbed a ton there also 6:30 Zangief is minus there after your knockdown he shouldn't be able to wake up spd so easy if you know meaty buttons or safejump. 3.6:07 it's a far bear grab = got armor but can be easily low kicked a low kick or even a sweep gonna stop gief easy 4.don't DI willy nilly use it sparingly, DI is bad even vs shoto and zoner as they even got cancellable normal into DI. Grapple can also grab em from a far as DI is 26 frame and a command grab is 5f.12:32 super 2 of gief got 18f start up u can easily block it if not for DI.14:58 ryu can easily cancel into DI he just not pressing it don't anti air with DI.

Zangief isn’t ruining anything, you’re the problem here respectfully I barely watched a minute of this video and I saw: 1. You pressed a 10f button after blocking something that at WORST is -9 (which is why you got hit with level 3 in the beginning) 2. Wake up DI - the scrubbiest thing ever. Just don’t do it 3. You tried to punish a -3 button with an 8 frame cr mk (I think around 2:45) 4. Gief was -13 with cr HK and you could have punished tf out of him but instead all you did was st mk 5. Im seeing you whiff a shit ton of heavy buttons right in your opponent’s face. A good player is gonna make you suffer for that And those are just the things I remember after about 60 seconds of watching. I already forgot another 10 I had in mind I promise you it’s very tough to win with grapplers against people who know what they’re doing. But when yall make videos like these and it’s clear yall have no idea how to play, all you do is convince an army of equally bad players that the grapplers are the problem when it’s you lol. I hope I ain’t coming off as condescending bc trust me, players above my skill level also point out my errors and I’m laughing as I type this so I don’t wanna seem all super serious but man….you have a lot of work to do. As another Juri player, I'm going to say Fuck Gief! IMO, you have to be a zoner against Gief with Juri, which is counter-intuitive. Keep him away with her fireball and make sure your anti-airs are on point. Baiting and punishing his command throws is also important.

SF5 theme is for some child anime character which doesn't fit him at all. However, SF6 theme gives him the big bad strong dictator vibe. I don't know what is it with you honestly.

Sorry but Bison's Street Fighter 5 theme is horrible as fuck. Bison would never have a theme like that. Street Fighter 6 is something Bison would actually have. It puts him back as his peak as the final boss of Street fighter and is making his triumphant return.

Could not agree less. M. Bison's sfv theme leaves no impression on me at all, it does not speak Bison in any way, it's not intimidating at all. Like all it is like a semi-catchy remix of M. Bison's normal theme, and i'd argue that is done better in Sf4, but i get that might be enough to make some people happy but idk personally. The sf6 theme is far from perfect but at least when i hear it i think of a character, not just "Wow, this is really not for me." Like i understand musical taste is different for everyone but i feel like a character theme should say something other then just being a song in of itself.

As a long time FGCer and fighting game fan... My advice: play them all! 😂 Seriously. I usually end up buying all fighting games, to a) support the scene and b) because I love fighting games. Next, Select 2, maybe 3, fighting games you want to main and take seriously. Usually it'll be Tekken, SF and something niche. The rest of the games are honestly just gravy. Most of the older games will become second nature when you dust them off from time to time because they'll stay the same, so your knowledge on frame data etc. won't need to be updates. Eg. 3rd Strike, MvC2. I haven't played 3S in months, but like riding a bike, I'll can play it again and remember what my options and match ups are. If you're not yet part of it, join an offline community (that you can play online as well with), see what they're playing on the regular to guide your game choices too. Also, learn atleast 1 character in each game (Main and niche). Figure out your playstyle, find a character that matches it and vibes with you and just have fun. If you're not a combo master, like me, just be honest with yourself and play and easier character. You'll save yourself alot of pain... Mentally and physically. 😂 My other advice is to rotate your games. Create a "schedule" for yourself. Maybe Monday and Wednesday are Tekken days and Tuesday and Thursday are SF days. The rest of the week is whatever else you wanna play, including non fighting games. Personally, I haven't touched SF6 since Lidia dropped, cause I wanted to main her. I'll cycle back in once Terry drops next week. Inbetween I'm grinding TFD and playing doses of UNI2. I'm not looking at the Marvel collection till the physical version drops. I'll just live vicariously through "Wazzlers" videos for now. 😂 Main thing is just to have fun and enjoy fighting games! Hope that helps and good luck!

100% agree with you there. The pendulum has switched to me getting back into game collecting so I've taken a break from Tekken 8 before jumping into the Marvel VS Capcom Collection once it comes out physically in November. There's way too many great fighting games coming out nowadays and its hard to keep up, it's getting insane.

If I was 12, I'd be in heaven. Considering how Arcades use to be, I don't think the industry was built for the internet

As a longtime multigame player just play all the ones you find interesting while focusing on a main 1 or 2 games you want to be good at. There's a lot you'll learn about yourself and your playstyle by exposing yourself to these new games for you as well as learning how to learn real well. I.e. you'll learn what things you need at a base level to feel competent in any given game real fast. And of course it's all about having fun. Who knows you might find your new favorite thing by trying out everything (money allowing of course.)

Skill crossover in fighting games is always there, but move lists and frame data, and mechanics in a new fighting game is far more difficult than "move with joysticks, R2 go BURRR" for shooters

It's always been this way. Fighting games just got more casual. Capcom had Dalkstalkers, Rival Schools, and a different SF every year to two years. SNK had Terry in 4 different games

Yeah I'm right there with ya, there's just so many fighting games, that I end up playing my backlog of non-fighting game games lol. It's been like this for the past couple years but I don't regret it. I just play some SF or KOF here and there but most of the time I just spectate by either watching max or Jwong play. Speaking of spectating, Definitely don't wanna miss EVO next year tho. It's prolly the best way I enjoy fighting games now.

My brother was absolutely obsessed with this game. I remember we went to Knott's Berry farm and they had an arcade with that game in it. He beat the whole thing with one quarter.

As the match is starting, holding down either assist button will make that character come out first. So the first assist button is the middle character and the 2nd assist button is the last character. There’s another technical aspect to doing this which I won’t get in to right now but that’s why you see top tier players pick their teams in a certain order so they can hold the assist button to start a particular character first to get a faster hit on go.

Facts. Guile's SF6 thene is so boring. Can't believe they did him dirty like that. Ken's SF6 theme is one my favs though and makes for great workout music.
